Description
This app uses groundbreaking augmented reality to reveal hidden messages, missing pages, metaphysical phenomena, mysterious puzzles and even ghosts in and around the pages of the book.
We need your help. A SPRUNG operative has gone missing. All that remains of him is his Ghostkeeper’s Journal – you’ll need the Ghost-o-Matic app to break the secrets hidden inside. Our operative’s name is Agamemnon White – child prodigy, ecto-genius, and tuna sandwich obsessive. He is also head of Ghostkeeping for the Western region, and was collecting the most powerful ecto-energy types known to man in his Journal. Download the Ghost-o-Matic app, synchronise it with your copy of the Ghostkeeper’s Journal, join SPRUNG, and use the book and app together to retrace Ag’s trail and help us rescue him. But beware… the moment you open the book, you will release the ghosts Ag trapped inside. It will be up to you to recapture them with the Ghost-o-Matic app and solve the mystery of his disappearance… without disappearing yourself!
This immersive storyworld of the Ghostkeeper’s Journal, told through the book and the app, represents a brand new kind of interactive fiction for older kids and young adults, reinventing the book for the screen generation and using AR technology in a wholly new way. The app delivers more than fifty animation sequences, digital puzzles and personalised achievements as part of an over-arching story about this mysterious Ghostkeeping society and its dark secrets. Join SPRUNG through this app and experience the next generation of storytelling today.
To begin, launch the app and point your device’s camera at your Journal to begin your hunt. In-app messages will guide you through the process of joining SPRUNG and catching your first ghost.
NOTE: Once downloaded, the Ghost-O-Matic app does not require WiFi. No data is sent from the app – any information entered into the app is only saved on the user’s own device.
This free app is available to anyone with a compatible smartphone or tablet (Android devices with both forward- and backward-facing cameras and a gyroscope using Android 4.0.3 and above, and ARMv7 NEON processors. INTEL ATOM based devices are not supported).

4 ★ Dear Developers, I would like to request a way to have 2-3 profiles. My kids use my phone and they are different ages, so I would like a way we can use the same app individually without interfering with each other's place in the book. It is a great app, otherwise!
4 ★ Really cool concept but I, like many others, cannot scan Ellie. Could you point in the direction of how to fix this problem, perhaps? I would use more than the 1/3 hint but it appears that I honestly don't know how. I really want to get past this part and it's very disappointing that I'm unable to.
4 ★ It has very good graphics,and a very good book,but the point when I type in my name it always bugs out. And what is the pink no texture patches on the app?I will continue to play this game,and I am playing the 1.1 game. Please fix this.Thx😬

3 ★ This book has been working up to the point when you need to scan Ellie, it will NOT work, I've tried EVERYTHING! Please help, I am thinking that I am just going to refund the book.. and don't tell me to watch the tutorials, because I already have, and it STILL doesn't help..
2 ★ I downloaded it a first time and it was great.but then my sister uninstalled it accidentally and now it won't let me open the app on my phone. It opens then shows a download complete page and then closes and I get a notice saying that it keeps stopping. Please fix this. Otherwise really fun.
1 ★ Not working at all, just got the book and the app does not move from the first animation, opening the door. I hope this is solve soon because my son, the whole family and my son's friends could not wait to read and interact with the book.
3 ★ It would be great if it didn't freeze and over heat my phone. It would also be nice if it saved information. I've had to uninstall and reinstall several times just to start over from the beginning
1 ★ I had downloaded this app thinking that maybe I would like it, well it does not work because you have to buy the book separately, which it should be included when you download this app, I installed this app thinking it would be wonderful experience, only to find out you have to buy the book separately, so I uninstalled this app, i would not recommend this app at all, not happy with this at all.
2 ★ As soon as I opens the app I held it over page and nothing happend the screen just stays white when all the adds were done I waited a couple of minutes with my phone over the page and both in happend. How can I fix this i still really want to enjoy this book.
5 ★ excellent!! I know a lot of people have issues with the 3rd ghost, phantamist, and the best way is to listen to the clue "two halves make a whole". it took me a while to get this.
4 ★ this book is not working on the profile page! and it is working on other pages but not this one i want my money back this is the 20 time i uninstalet and instalet again this is wrong all the persons books work but not mine!

3 ★ Really cool concept, however my the keyboard and camera are super finnicky, I said there for a good 5 minutes just trying to type my name in and I spent a lot of time trying to get it to scan.
1 ★ thid app is a peice of trash i go to the sincronize page and it flathes a journal sincronized then when i get to tge lure page it says its no soncronized ive tryed the hints but it gives me the same tradh every time im mad that i spent 10$ on this peice of trash abd i want a refund
