The Uploader for Garmin can read data from your Garmin Forerunner, Edge, eTrex, Oregon, etc, store data in your phone, save the TCX or FIT file to SD card, send activity via email, and upload to:
- Garmin Connect
- Training Peaks
- Endomondo
- RunningAHEAD
- Strava
- Runtastic (see here for limitations: http://www.sportablet.com/1/post/2013/09/sharing-on-runtastic.html).
The app can also export to GPX or save the native FIT/TCX file.
Other than reading from your Garmin, the app can also import FIT and TCX files from sdcard, flash drives, etc.
For some Garmin models, the app can also send tracks / courses to the device (see here: http://www.sportablet.com/send). This feature will be gradually implemented for every device.
These devices are supported *with the right settings and usb-friendly phones / tablets*
Serial Forerunner models (201, 301, 205, 305).
File-based Forerunner models (10, 15, 110, 210, 220, 610, 620).
ANT+ Forerunner models: 405, 405CX, 410.
ANT-FS Forerunner models: 310XT, 610, 910XT.
ANT-FS Forerunner models: 50, 60, 70.
Garmin Swim.
Serial Edge models (205, 305).
File-based Edge models (200, 500, 510, 605, 705, 800, 810, 1000, Touring, Touring Plus05).
Some Fenix / Fenix 2.
Some eTrex, GpsMap and Oregon models are also supported.
Other devices are reported to be working: Astro 200 and Montana.

Some Samsung and Sony phones / tablets have a built-in ANT+ chip, if you have one you don't need the Garmin ANT+ dongle *when connecting an ANT+ Forerunner*.
The Uploader is free to try: you can read all activities, but explore only one (from your first upload session). That way, you can test communication with the Garmin and publishing to all the supported websites.
Once you know that it works fine with your Garmin device and Android phone/tablet, if you like what you see, you can activate it with an in-app purchase on Google Play (price is about 5 euros / 6.6 $).
Note: in-app purchases are slow, and may take a couple of minutes to be confirmed. Don't panic :-).

5 ★ I hadn't seen a need to use this, but now Garmin Express no longer stores a local chippy of your fit files, this is a perfect solution as you can easily export to your sd card. It works very well with my 910XT and is great for those of us with older watches.
5 ★ Works as advertised. Data loads from forerunner 310xt and then to garmin connect and to runkeeper. Very happy.

5 ★ works well with Samsung a5 and garmin 910. I have to go into flight mode first then open app and connect to get it to work without problems. I think this is an ant+ issue with my phone not the app.
5 ★ This app worked as I hoped. I love that the free version let's you prove it will work with your device and you dont need to pay until your convinced it does. Works with my 910xt. 6 bucks for the app beats buying a new watch just to download files.
5 ★ Worked great or for the last few years but no longer uploads to Strava. Keeps resorting back to ST site after requesting Strava authentication. Been a great app though in fairness. Time for a new watch
4 ★ Great app! Uploads from my Forerunner 910XT with ease. For some reason, I can no longer export to Strava. It takes me back to Sportablet home page. :(
5 ★ Works perfectly once you read and implement the "tweaking" section in the instructions. Uploaded all my recent data off my 910XT last night without having to boot my prehistoric laptop - happy boy...........
1 ★ Now has turned out to be ransomware. Got to pay now to see my downloads from months/years ago and it still doesn't work. Fortunately everything backed up and computer download still works. Uninstalled.
5 ★ This app has allowed me to get rid of my computer. For years now, I've been able to sync immediately, wherever I am. It's worked great even across several different phones and devices.
5 ★ Garmin connect error still not fixed. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Edit: installed using the apk linked to on the blog and working perfectly again. Cheers.
5 ★ I rarely bother giving reviews for apps, never mind written ones but this deserved the effort-great app, works, quick, pushes and pulls from where I need to.
3 ★ it's ok for transferring runs but I can't transfer a swimming Garmin file to Garmin connect. it does the job though and much cheaper than upgrading the watch.
5 ★ Seems to now be non functional with Garmin Connect as 'unknown error' every time trying to upload item. Sept '19 -Fixed - sideloading new apk from blog fixes issue. Many thanks.
4 ★ Everything works great for me, except I can't get the strava authentication to work from it. every time i hit authenticate, it goes to the sportablet web site. any thoughts? happy to go to 5 stars if i can figure that out
