BLT BPUM UMKM is a Productive Assistance Program for Micro Enterprises that is channeled through the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kementrian Koperasi dan UKM) to micro-entrepreneurs so that they can survive and thrive in times like today.

Funding assistance for the micro business (BLT BPUM UMKM) is given if it has passed when registering and participants are entitled to a grant of IDR 2.4 million.

The first phase of the BLT BPUM UMKM assistance program was carried out in August 2020 with a total of 9.1 million micro business actors. and this program is still ongoing with the reopening of the BLT BPUM UMKM program by the government.

The government extends the Micro Business President's Assistance (BLT BPUM UMKM) by Rp 2.4 million in 2021. with the hope that Micro and Small Business actors who have never received the BLT BPUM UMKM assistance program can re-apply this year.

In phase 1, BLT BPUM was distributed to around 9 million MSMEs. While in stage 2, it is targeted that 3 million MSMEs will receive it.
If you add up in stages 1 and 2, there are around 12 million MSMEs that are recipients of BPUM. and with the reopening of the BLT BPUM UMKM assistance program, it will certainly increase the number of recipients who can get this BLT BPUM UMKM assistance program.

The target recipients of the aid are micro business actors or MSMEs affected by the pandemic.

One of the characteristics of getting the BLT BPUM assistance program is receiving an SMS notification from the Bank which reads:
"Nsbh Dear. You are registered as a recipient of a Productive Banpres (BLT BPUM UMKM). For verification and disbursement, please contact the nearest Himbara office by bringing your eKTP."

The requirements that must be met to get this BLT BPUM UMKM assistance program are as follows:

• Indonesian Citizen
• Have a National Identity Number (NIK)
• Owning a micro business
• Not ASN, TNI / Polri and BUMN / BUMD employees
• Not currently receiving credit or financing from banks and KUR
• Micro entrepreneurs who have a different KTP and business domicile can attach a Business Certificate (SKU).
