Description
The ACVIM mobile application allows you to view the schedule, presentations, posters, exhibitor, and speaker details from the ACVIM conferences. Users can take notes on presentations and exhibitors.
Additionally, users can share information with attendees and colleagues with in-app messaging, tweeting, and emailing.
App permissions
ACVIM Events 2.0.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.
Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

4 ★ Very useful to have this app during the conference, was constantly using it for the maps and to see which talk to go to next. However, I found that the 'my schedule' feature was often glitchy, either showing nothing when I clicked on it, or only some of the talks that I had starred. I was often going back to the full schedule to find my starred results.
