1 ★ Don't use this app. I used this app to book a maxi taxi for me and 5 others for a 5am drive to the airport. The app said that the reservation was confirmed, but when i opened it the next morning waiting for the cab it was searching for a driver. A cab never showed up, i looked like an idiot in front of my colleagues and we had to use a ride share service to get to the airport. I'll be using ride share services from now on.
1 ★ We booked a taxi on this app for $165. We waited for the cab on the app to arrive at the pickup point. We then were told that the fair was to cheap and that he would not take us for under $200 to the agreed address. I understand that prices can fluctuate but when you book a certain price and the cab shows up no more than 5 minutes later surely they can honour the agreed price. It's reasons like this I tend to prefer Uber every time I catch a taxi seems to be some hidden fee.
1 ★ Crashes regularly after entering addresses. Cannot use the app if you want to pay cash. 13CABS WILL charge you $1 if you book a taxi and then use a CabCharge card, even if you have no money in your account for it. This app is a fine example of poor devolopment and implementation. People who usually use CabCharge cards are indigenous and the disabled, seems a bit inconsiderate.
1 ★ Do not download or use this app, if you want to be overcharged for a product that does not work. 13cabs a subsidiary of A2B Australia Limited is a money laundering fraud operation. It forces you to download the app in order for you to book a taxi, then requires you to hand over your credit card details. It fails to use proper information disadvantaging the taxi drivers pick up or drop off, over charges the passenger(s)... more than the government regulated installed taxi meters,
1 ★ Don't bother, this app will not secure a booking for you even when booking for a service a week in advance. The company has a disclaimer which which states that they do not guarantee pick-ups. If you don't mind being stranded and want to risk not being picked up then this may be for you.
5 ★ I like that it tells me how much the cab will be. I use it for the kids school run and I can watch the cab on the app so I know when they are at school
2 ★ The app looks nice and is reliable. The fixed fare and preferred driver features are good. It is good that drivers do not get your phone number. A major flaw is the lack of functionality without Google Location Services turned on. I would happily increase my star rating if this was fixed, and also the ability to make 'pay driver direct'/Cabcharge bookings in the app was brought back.
1 ★ Downloaded this app when visiting Sydney to book a wheelchair accessible taxi, but it reverted to a normal taxi every time I tried. Ended up having to call the number to book one anyway, undoing any possible reason to have the app.
5 ★ I have used 13cabs three times now and had a great experience each time. Cabs arrive quickly, drivers are friendly, rates are good and the app keeps me up to date on where the cab is.
5 ★ Great app but it never lets me select Fassifern train station as where I want to go to.
1 ★ Worst app ever for a taxi service. If you end up in a location using just this service look for an alternative to move around. Tried to book at least 6 times and I could never book a taxi, and once I could book and wait for it the guy came I told me I wasn't expecting anyone.
3 ★ This app is great when it works but a lot of the time you get app bookings are not available in this location, so then you have to call and you get charged extra for a call out fee.
1 ★ Was great for a time. Now it just won't work at all. As a cab is the only way I can get around on my own I really need the app to work. But it just keeps coming to the booking screen then when I select ok on my pick up and destination it just goes black and won't do anything.
1 ★ They have tried to clone uber but have failed. Plus annoying marketing popups. Country NSW I was not able to book a cab through the app or gain fixed price. Had to call to book. Hopefully they will get it right eventually but until then...back to uber.
4 ★ Best way to book a taxi, but some drivers don't seem to understand the "charging in-app" at end of trip part. More driver training needed, please. I had to argue with at one of them and it wasn't pleasant.
