App permissions

BusPlanner Delays 2.2.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows access to the vibrator.

1 ★ Its notifications don't work on S23

1 ★ At first I was getting notifications for other buses in the province. Now I just get blank notifications. Multiple ones in a morning or afternoon. Wasteful interruptions while working. Please fix this for next year or decommission the app and don't tell us to rely on it.

1 ★ This is a completely useless app. First, the app crashed. Now that I can open it the notification is completely useless. 10 min after the scheduled time the app says the bus is delayed 10 min. 25 min after scheduled time or says 25 min. This is useless. I can do the math.!!! I need to know when the bus will show up if it will show up. Right now, 1 start is too much.

1 ★ useless app for people that actually needs it. my experience that it only notifies me when I open it up. they need to send SMS to people that do not have data plans like most kids at a bus stop. and it is only good if they actually inform u that there is a delay coldest day of the year and the bus was 20 mins late and no notification get system u have here Facebook is better than this app

1 ★ App this morning showed 3 buses that weren't ours. Our bus was late but didn't show. Setup is too simplified; doesn't show your current setup, so I can't confirm what I'm supposed to see. During setup, you have to scroll down a huge list of buses to find yours. This app is poorly designed.

3 ★ Not a good initial experience. Make sure you open the app now and again just to make sure it's still configured. When I realized I did not get a bus notification this morning I discovered my settings had been wiped, maybe because if an update? risky!

3 ★ Great idea, but I find I have to re-input details just to get information. Edit to respond: I have to reenter school information and bus routes every time I wanted information. It would sort of be saved so I didn't have to reenter all the details but I would have to go through the steps for information to show instead of being readily available when I opened it. I also never got a notification of cancellations.

2 ★ What happen to this app? This was the greatest thing last year for keeping us informed, but this year I have not received a single notification. I have triple checked my permissions and everything is set properly, but no notifications.

1 ★ App not working at all now, was perfect last winter season! I only get information if I go through the setup process each time, otherwise no cancellations or delays for my school are showing up.

2 ★ Only half helpful. I don't get notifications about the delays for the school I selected or district unless I have to open the app. Not as useful as it should be. It should notify you without opening the app with your setup ideally.

2 ★ I agree . Worked great last year . Now not at all it seems . Too bad Also i hate the "my big yellow bus" website . Have had problems with it for years, always confusing and unreliable. They like to blame the users a lot too i notice .

1 ★ Unable to open app. Downloaded the app and when I go to open the app it will open really quick and then it will shut right down. I am trying to open it on a Samsung s21 phone that is up to date with the software.

1 ★ Nearly all busses have been cancelled today according to the news and the web page. But according to the app, theres 'no updates'. Useless. Thanks for the waste of time.
