Required Permissions And Privacy Notes
VPNService: DNS Changer uses VPNService base class to create DNS & VPN connection.
- For DNS: When your Android device connects to the Internet from a specific network, your address on the Internet (the location of your Android device in the virtual network) is called the IP address. And the IP address is a code system consisting of encrypted numbers. DNS Changer processes these numbers as site addresses by using DNS servers, and the address can be reached when searched in this way.
For VPN: DNS Changer opens an encrypted (meaning crypto) tunnel from its physical location to the opposite network. Information transmitted through this tunnel is encrypted and cannot be viewed from the outside. DNS Changer acts as a virtual network adapter with the help of the specialized network driver on your android device, giving you an IP number from the opposite network.

5 ★ Something caused slow loading on my phone. YouTube would spin for 30 seconds to load, commercial inserts took their time as well. I download DNS Changer and all of a sudden my video streaming is back to life. YouTube, Pluto TV cache on my 4G phone like it always did fresh out the box. It's the bandaid I needed for always connecting to the fastest DNS servers to hit my cell tower. It works, I'm happy for try it!!
1 ★ The amount of permissions required is mind boggling. When you're installing the app, take a really quick look of all of the terms you are agreeing to. This app collects all sorts of data, logs, etc. You agree this data can be sold and traded. Really concerning given that all of your Internet traffic will be routed with this app. There are alternatives to this DNS changer app that don't require nowhere near this many information requests. In this day and age, you need to stay safe online.
2 ★ Why does DNS turns itself off???I had to reconnect.It does constantly disconnect!It still disconnect every couple of hours!!! I'm gonna delete the app and get a functioning one!
1 ★ Too many ads, I understand that they need to generate money through ads, but getting ads after every few second is just too much. Open the apps got ads, starting the service got ads, stopping the service got ads, you minimize and open it again got ads, you unlock your screen got ads. Another reason is the ads is too long, 5-30 second for the ads to stop playing, and then you need to wait for 5-30 second again to close the ads. Some ads has unclickable, fake X button. Some doesn't even has X btn
5 ★ Highly recommend since this app opened ports 80 and 443 for me on mobile data and wifi without needing to port forward manually.
5 ★ Five stars b cause u did what u said. One bar(at&t) download your app install and watch a short ad and I am now connected to one of your new dns for free. Now at solid steady four bars(at&t) and the 5g now has a (+) next to it where it never did before. Thank you guys. Hope it maintains. As of now. 5/5

2 ★ Too much ads!!! I can deal with a few but they pop up all the time no matter which all I'm using, also when I want to go into the app itself to turn it on or off I have to battle 4-5 apps and no matter that I press the little X in the corner it still takes me to playstore and I have to go back and the ad is still playing... It's a vicious cycle I've decided to uninstall it it's just too much

2 ★ Not sure why anyone who already knows they can edit the DNS very easily in Android by altering it in their connection settings, without an app and without su, would need an app which uses ads and acts as a VPN to push their data through. Not to say the dev is collecting personal data but you are just adding another hole in your privacy by relying on an app from the Play Store to change your DNS when like I said you can do it in less than 30 seconds with a simple open, copy and paste
4 ★ [Bug report] I have to temporarily disconnect if I want to print from my phone as Epson iPrint can no longer find printers on the home network. Other than that, it's an easy way to speed up your browsing and keep malware off your phone (select Cloudflare anti-malware).
