Bumble For Friends is free to download and use. However, we also offer an optional subscription package (Bumble For Friends Premium) and single or multiple-use paid services for which no subscription is required (including Spotlights and SuperSwipes).
We offer weekly, monthly, 3-month and 6-month subscriptions, with discounts given on the weekly price. Prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. Prices are clearly displayed in the app.

1 ★ Scam. Doesn't let you view matches unless you pay. Says you can "chat for free" which is dishonest and untrue. Every potential match is locked behind a pay wall, and a steep one at that. This was not made clear at any point prior to setting up the app, almost as if they want to get your information for advertising in case you close your account. Zero stars.
2 ★ It's nice to have an app that's just for finding friends, but it's frustrating that you can only match with people of your own gender. I understand this is likely to prevent women from being hit on by guys when they're just looking for friends. But for non-binary folks, there's already not a lot of us out there, and when you narrow that down to enbies who are using this particular app, the pool becomes even smaller. I completely ran out of matches after barely 10 minutes of swiping.
1 ★ The app automatically filters to only show people who match your gender, which is convenient unless you choose nonbinary and it only shows you like 3 people. There needs to be a feature to choose the gender of people you're looking to make friends with, and I really wish there was a way to change your own name on your profile.
1 ★ If you download this app, it will transfer your original Bumble info over to this new app (matches, likes, everything). But if you get this app, you'll miss being able to switch between date mode and bff on Bumble, so you'll delete this new app and just use the old one again. You go to move to the BFF side of bumble and a notification pops up saying "YOU ALREADY HAVE THE BUMBLE FOR FRIENDS APP" Now you will never be able to use BFF on the original Bumble app ever again. Thanks a lot Bumble 👍
1 ★ Unable to see friends. I created my profile only to find out that this app is buggy. When I went over to the friends tab, it's blank (refreshing the screen didn't work). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing works. I was excited for a separate bumble app that focused on friendship only.
4 ★ My wife and I have been enjoying the app but still feel like it's unfair about the gender wall. Granted, there are more inclusive options, but it still doesn't work for individuals who are perfectly capable and/or prefer to be friends with the opposite gender. Since this is a new app and should be 100% oriented to friendships, I think removing the wall for everyone will be the right choice, but keep the option for those who are only comfortable searching for the same gender.
1 ★ I'm sorry but you can't expected people to be able to make friends if at least one of you have to pay in order to see the matches I understand paying to have more swipes or even so you can undo a swipe but for an app marketed to make friends you can not expect us to really pay $10 dollars or better yet 5 dollars a week, in this economy lol 💀 there's so many other apps you could use instead that give you the option to see your matches. Which is like literally the whole point of the app
1 ★ There is really no point in trying this. I heard so many people talk about Bumble, and I thought it was a good app, but you can barely get past verification. I was verified, and the app still showed nothing. No matches and no people to swipe like/pass, etc. You could only access information about you to edit. Everything that the low reviews say about this app on the playstore are sadly true. I was hoping to give this app a chance and not look at these reviews, but they speak facts.
3 ★ I hate constantly getting a pop-up asking me to fill out more of my profile. I only recently realized that I can swipe past it. Throughout my first few months of using this app, it only showed me people who had extremely basic profiles. But a few days ago I did finally make a good match, and then the algorithm seemed to recommend to me the other people who my match also matched with. Also, I love that there is now an events feature, but there needs to be a way to filter them by keyword.
1 ★ I was looking to get premium for bumble. I looked at the faq, and it said if you buy premium for bumble, you automatically get premium for BFF. after purchasing a lifetime subscription for bumble, I logged out of BFF and back in, and found it is still not premium. and there is no tech support available, very disappointing, since this was the main reason I got premium for bumble in the first place. Update - I have contacted customer service twice, and still nothing. Total ghosting. disappointing.
1 ★ I had high hopes, but unfortunately this app is money motivated, not for finding friends. You can't even search or browse. You get the person they put up for you to swipe left or right and that's it? I'm so pissed, I want my $20 back!
5 ★ Did have an issue with having to restart the app after every swipe, but this quickly got resolved. The premium features are worth the cost and its easy to find like minded people. My only complaint would be that the events feature doesn't seem to get used much
1 ★ I tried to migrate from the regular Bumble app with the BFF profile to a dedicated separate Bumble For Friends app (this app). After making me wait a long time, I tried to sign in to this app and I couldn't. I put in the code it texted me, I tried asking it to call me, and I tried to sign in with Facebook, nothing would work. I made sure to type everything in correctly and I still can't get in. Note that I have two Android phones with Bumble installed on both.
1 ★ This App is experiencing some severe ongoing technical issues with just getting past a simple basic verification process. To add insult to injury, as if that incompetence wasn't enough then they want you to PAY a monthly subscription fee just to be able to view & respond to your supposed potential matches. Do better Bumble!! I'm in my 40s & was reluctant to try an App in order to expand my social network for like minded individuals with mutual interests in the first place I'm definitely not
2 ★ Bring back hives. The new "plans" feature really sucks in comparison. You can only have 15 people in a chat, you can't manually search for plans, you can only scroll and find them that way. Having large hives was great, some of them were just community chats which was so nice and made you feel like you were a part of a community. Which is exactly what BFF should be about! You couldve just taken the hives feature and added the plan feature (ie date, location etc) to it instead. This really sucks.
