Description
If features direct reading in dB (dBA), has wide measuring range, Min/Max function and additional digital display.
NOTE: This app can measure sound level in decibels using your device's microphone located on the bottom. The accuracy of the measured sound level depends on your device's microphone quality and can be improved by performing a calibration procedure described in app's info screen.
App permissions
Sound Meter - Decibel & SPL 3.8 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

4 ★ The recent update improves visual aspects which IMO had regressed in previous update. Note to developer. When I first added a star Google Play did not properly save the revised text review (which should now be above).
1 ★ You've removed the option to calibrate according to the brand of my device. Now it is showing all high readings. I've downgraded to one star only, because it doesn't work on my Asus anymore.
5 ★ Wondering if there are any more calibrations out there? I've matched each phone I had back to the HTC one v calibration. I wonder how far off its strayed since then?
