Description
A http://my.scouting.org/ log in is required and your account must either be connected to a Scout as a parent or be a youth account.
App permissions
Scouting 2.7.1 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

3 ★ I could not recover my account. I put the sucurity questions in and got them right but all it gave was my username but I clicked forgot password. So I tried making a new account but it said " we have matching info would you like to recover your account" so I did and it ASKED ME THE SAME QUESTIONS AGAIN. I got them right and IT ONLY GAVE ME THE USERNAME AGAIN. I am not happy that I can't recover my accout but when I was using the app it worked good. Please fix this glitch
2 ★ It works ok. My biggest complaint is that I keep enabling fingerprint sign in and it STILL always prompts me for username and password at login with no option to use fingerprint.
1 ★ Calendar disappears without warning, don't see events and overly complicated. Awful.
3 ★ This app is very slow and glitchy. It has been like this since an update came out a few months ago.

1 ★ Very glitchy, keeps freezing and not saving, doesn't seem to notify den leaders of items for approval. I am a parent using it to record my children's progress, but this information does not get sent by the app to the Den leaders.
1 ★ It is a extremely site to navigate. And my Den information isn't connected to me.
1 ★ Wow. Just wow. Not a good wow, but all I can say to express my disappointment with this app. Not sure if it is due to the recent update, as others have suggested, but this app in its current state is useless. Information that I know to be up to date in IA2.0 is not reflected in the app, and the only information that does show is years out of date. I'm also notified of some 88+ messages, but reading them does clear the read/unread flag, and clicking on them most often just crashes the app. F+
1 ★ Poorly designed and too complicated. As both a leader and a parent it is not user friendly, difficult to navigate, useless. I've looking for 2 hours how to RSVP to an event. Ridiculous! I'm a world that is being streamlined by technology there is no reason that as a leader and parent I should have to log into multiple platforms to accomplish scouting tasks.
1 ★ The app is not intuitive and extremely frustrating to use. It is virtually useless.
2 ★ Meh. It gives me access to see what has been updated, and notifies me when awards have been approved and awarded. However, the content is sluggish, there is no "mark all notifications read" and the awards listed in the app is different from awards listed on the website. I just tell all my parents to go to the website instead of the app. I keep the app hoping it will get better.
1 ★ Half of the time the advancements you try to enter don't get saved. There are a lot of error messages and some of what does get saved also gets randomly deleted. If we attend events, but don't rsvp ahead of time, we counted as absent. In addition to this, the events don't always show up in the app, and for the ones that do show up they don't appear on the actual day of the event (e.g., an event scheduled for a Saturday will show up in the app on the following Sunday).
