Download the latest Proxi - proximity (screen off) app launcher application, version 4.9, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Bryk and is easy to download and install.

Description
When the screen is on and the sensor detects proximity, an (optional) sound notifies the start of an (adjustable) delay.
If the proximity still exists after this delay, the selected app is launched. Any non-system app can be chosen.
Proxi comes with an onboard copy of the app 'Off without lock', which turns off the screen. See its Play Store description for further details.
NOTE: due to Google's ever more restrictive policies, under Android Q an app can no longer launch another activity.
Therefore, when running Android Q+, Proxi can only execute a limited version of 'Off (internal)'.
You may, however, download a legacy version from the app list on the 'Privacy Policy' page.
If enabled, Proxi will turn on the screen on loss of proximity (this option may increase standby battery consumption).
IMPORTANT PERMISSIONS

READ_PHONE_STATE: disable turning off the screen during a call
CAMERA: disable turning off the screen when the camera is open
and, when using the onboard 'Off without lock':
WRITE_SETTINGS: temporarily change the sleep timeout (non-root)
DEVICE ADMIN (optional): turn off immediately if no screen lock is set
ROOT (optional): turn off immediately (rooted devices only)

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
