SYSTEM requirement:
• This theme is tailored for Samsung devices with the stock firmware on Nougat, Oreo and Pie. For Substratum-set requirements, like root and plugins, please read below.
• Custom ROMs based on Samsung firmware may work too. If you are using AOSP based ROMs though, you should use our Dark and Black Substratum themes instead of this one.
• Samsung tablets are not tested, but may work. If you encounter any bug on them you can let us know and we can try to look into them!
ROOT or PLUGINS requirement:
• Root and plugins requirements are set by the Substratum theme engine and by how overlays work on Android, NOT by the theme code!
- Samsung Nougat: you will require a separate, paid add-on developed by the Substratum team!
- Samsung Oreo: you will require a separate, paid add-on, different than the Nougat one, developed by the Substratum team, or to root your device!
- Samsung Pie ONLY FOR S9, S9+, NOTE 9: you will require a separate, paid add-on, same as the Oreo one, developed by the Substratum team, or to root your device!
- Samsung Pie ALL OTHER DEVICES: you must root your device to use any Substratum theme on it!
INSTALLATION:
1: Make sure that you have all that you need to use the Substratum theme engine.
2: Download the Substratum theme engine app and the theme. When you open up the Substratum app you’ll find the theme inside.
3: Open the theme inside the Substratum app and select your background in the menu at the top. Also select the apps you want to theme and hit install.
4: Wait until all overlays are installed and then reboot.
If you are using Samsung Oreo or Pie, you will need to enable all overlays in the "Manager" inside the Substratum app after installing overlays and rebooting.
!! Remember to uninstall all overlays before upgrading your firmware (OTA) !!

REFUNDS: if you downloaded the app and you can't use it, you can refund it from the Play Store within 2 hours from mobile and 48 hours from desktop as long as it was your first purchase. Alternatively, you can email us your GPA order number code within 48 hours of your purchase for us to send the refund request to Google Play whenever possible.

5 ★ This was my go to theme. Does not work with pie note 8 sad face. Colors were great. Theme updated all the time. Absolutely amazing job with all the different apps that were theme able. Loved the customization without root. Will uninstall till substratum can work with Pie.
4 ★ Love this theme, absolutely amazing and themes everything I use. Please update to theme Samsung pie beta apps that are missing from the drop down menus such as Messages, Phone (incallui), Samsung Internet, Samsung Themes, Weather, possibly more. Thank you for the hard work.
4 ★ Tired of playstore app not working due to this app and the update cycle. Other layers apps can theme play store without failure on every update. Please fix this issue, otherwise this is a great app. Did not realize reinstalling fixed this issue...thanks. updated review.
5 ★ The only theme that worked properly with synergy and my galaxy a50 running stock unrooted pie. Looks decent but lacks accent consistency. Not sure if this is by design or not. Another theme for galaxy devices is on the galaxy store for free the pewdiepie theme is very well polished and quite beautiful.
3 ★ Samsung messages hasnt been able to be themed. Please fix. Its been an issue for weeks now. Other then that, this top notch. Still lacks support for Samsung 10.

2 ★ All of the apps work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 except for the Settings App. It just keeps stopping after installing the overlay and I can't seem to figure out the issue. Please fix this ASAP. Thanks :)
2 ★ The search bar in the quick settings is white on Samsung 7.0 Nougat. Also, many apps like Viper4Android, Samsung Cloud or Samsung Voice Recorder are not supported; weird, since Swift Installer supports them...
1 ★ How sad Samsung has blocked overlays on note 8. Can't theme up my note 8 anymore after the one UI pie update. If i would have known i would have never updated to pie. Hope you guys find some way around it.
5 ★ The best samsung themes ever made are here! Still compatible with my Unrooted Galaxy Note 9 in Sunsgtromeda mode even on the latest April Security Patch 2019. Amazing job!

5 ★ Constant obligatory reapply/update is a little problematic but it is not Smth they can control when there are updates to apps. You are doing a great job!

5 ★ Great theme, looks amazing on my Galaxy S9+ on Android Pie v9.0.0. Gboard is working again and Galaxy App progress bar is finally themed, no more rainbow colors.
