1 ★ Ads ads ads. As you start reading an article an ad will pop up and you have to scroll up or down to get back to what you're reading. Then you come to a point when something pops up saying you have to answer an inane question before you're allowed to read on. Load of rubbish.

1 ★ I cant sign into bristol live for some reason. So going to delete app. I have emailed bristol live and they have replied and said no prob at their end .
2 ★ Good but a bit slow to open. 1 year later review .. Now won't open at all, just throws you back to your home screen. Also a recent update has removed the ability to comment on the news stories. The comment section was the best bit and almost always far more riveting than the stories!
1 ★ Frequently crashes on opening. And after a couple of years of moderately satisfactory operation, though still very slow to load, this appalling excuse for an app is once again crashing on opening — this time every single time I try to open it. Has the Bristol Post considered getting a 6-year-old from a local infants school to do the programming?
1 ★ The latest update will not let me open the app at all, and when it asks if I want to leave feedback, I get the circle of doom and nothing loads. The update needs updating!
4 ★ No longer loads up since update, flashes up then clears, don't even get to see news stories. Tried deleting and installing again and still same. Was handy to see mostly local news stories. As per their reply, update appears to have fixed problem, so adjusted review. Thank you.
1 ★ As bad as the website. Cluttered with needless malicious spam/spyware popups, poor UI design, very slow and randomly crashing. Kind of what you'd expect from the Bristol Post, matches their quality of "Journalism" - - a mockery and complete shambles.
4 ★ App is better than the website, which is unreadable! This app version has less bad advertising and no worse than other free news sites. The actual news content is interesting and useful, so keeps me coming back..
1 ★ Half decent app, however when I get a notification through and I click on it no action happens (just goes to my home screen) I loose the notification and have to browse for the article which is annoying.
4 ★ I enjoy seeing what happens near my residence as it keeps me alert of what may be coming and it helps me prepare. It always includes regular updates and i do wonder how bristol live is given information and where it comes from though. All in all Bristol live is helpful for Bristol residents.
3 ★ Bit annoying when articles come up as alerts on my phone but when I click on them it loads to "article cannot be found" message. Good to have local news though
1 ★ Rubbish not allowed to leave comments in the app version now it keeps crashing so doesn't work at all. Website is terrible as well. You can leave comments but its difficult to navigate
1 ★ This app used to work perfectly but now I just keep getting thrown out of it. I have reinstalled but its no better and I can't now bookmark my areas of interest on it.
