We have added instructions on how to download the new Brighton & Hove buses app
Create an account on the new app to buy and access your tickets. If you have tickets on this app, please use the same email address when creating your account. Don't forget to check your email for a link to verify your account before logging back into the new app.
As of 1 June 2021 you won't be able to use this app as it will no longer be supported. Please install the new app now.

Description
Main features:
- Smart journey planning – Add your start and end points, it will work from postcodes, bus stop names or place names and return the best route. Or it can detect where you are and plan from there, providing you with live arrival times.
- Buy cheap bus tickets – Purchase bus tickets with ease and choose how you want to pay.
- Live directions – The map will default to your current location or you can set it to show any starting point. Know how long you need to walk to your bus stop. Get step by step directions with live guidance as you travel on the map. View the arrival time of your bus and see buses moving along the route.
- Live bus times – Use your location or tap on a bus stop on the map and see the next bus arrival time.

1 ★ I uninstalled the app as I could not buy a ticket. Installed the app again and the same problem. The tickets window doesn't open!

1 ★ I hate leaving bad reviews but...it's time. I've used every iteration of the app since it was released and, while there have always been bugs, this is the worst yet. I can't pay for a ticket. I get a 404 error every time I reach the payment screen. None of my details save, so it always takes longer than necessary to even get to this stage. Please, for the love of invest in the app and hire a decent UX designer. It shouldn't be like this, especially considering the cost of the buses.
1 ★ Pathetic excuse for an app. I really wish there was another app or something else because everytime I attempt to purchase a ticket it'll get to the payment section but the pages just freezes or times out. My internet is great so this stuff shouldn't be happening. Hurry up and sort it out its ridiculous.
1 ★ When I went to try and purchase tickets this morning it hadn't got any of my payment methods and wouldn't allow me to add any. It wouldn't even let me log out or back in again to try and resolve - it just gave me an error code! Not ideal when you're in a rush, I've now had to purchase a more expensive ticket on the bus! The only thing that seems to have resolved the issue is uninstalling and reinstalling - you shouldn't have to do this!
1 ★ Had not open the app in some time but decided to use it today. Nothing was working - kept saying couldn't fetch catalogues and data. Forced stopped the app but same problems. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Had to go through the password reset and none of their codes worked. I can't even login. 0 stars.
1 ★ An absolute disgrace. This ap has never been good, but as of Feb. 2021 it is officially totally useless. Can't buy tickets, can't reset password etc. The only message you get is 'A technical error has occurred, please try again later'. Very frustrating, especially when student tickets are only available in the app...
1 ★ Cannot add new payment methods and wiped all of my old ones. Cannot even use Google pay anymore. This makes the app useless. This has been going on for me for at least and week. This needs to be sorted out ASAP or at least get them to sell student tickets and network savers on the actual buses. *After reinstalling the app I can now add payment methods but not complete purchases. 👍
1 ★ I can't pay for any tickets, I've tired uninstalling it 3 times but it still won't work. I've had this app for ages and it was working fine now I can't buy tickets, really not impressed.
1 ★ Another year another broken app From two broken apps to another broken app to the next one. Another faff of moving tickets and payment methods across, with no in app help of any sort. What a way to treat your customers. Brighton buses can you make up your minds, get yourselves a good app (for a change) and stick to it?
1 ★ Always temperamental and as of this week it wiped all my payment methods and won't allow me to add any. I got my partner to gift me a ticket which also won't show in my account but has been charged to him. I deleted the app and popped on to re download it and have spotted loads of others having the same issue! Sort it OUT B&H! You want people to use public transport and then make it very difficult!
