Description
The app is especially suitable for architects, painters, floorers and electricians, all other tradespeople can also benefit from its comprehensive functionality. Bosch MeasureOn enables you to increase the productivity and efficiency of your day-to-day work.
Main functions:
- Picture mode: Measured values can be transferred directly to pictures
- Measurement List: Measured values are stored in one list and can later be organized
- Quick Sketch: Quickly create simplified sketches that can later be adopted into detailed floor plans
- Detailed Plans: Floor plan creation including wall view, room height, roof slope and area calculation
- Wall View: Document wall dimensions including roof slope, room height and objects
- Area calculation
- Notes, to-do’s and audio memos
The app can be used in combination with the GLM 100 C Professional and GLM 50 C Professional laser measures.
Bosch MeasureOn combines all the functions of the previous GLM measure&document and GLM floor plan apps, enabling you to document your measured values all in one place.
App permissions
Bosch MeasureOn Gen.1 1.3.8 APK requires following permissions:

1 ★ No support for Windows devices (like Surface, etc). How are you supposed to measure and lay out a floor plan on your phone screen? Maybe if you only had one or two dimensions, but you wouldn't need an app for that, you could just take a picture of the screen. Dumb
3 ★ Brutal ! SKIP THIS APP! I tried to look past the horrible reviews and bought the laser. Big mistake. It simply won't connect. My tablet shows the bluetooth on the laser is on, but the app says there are no Bosch devices nearby. Since it says I can't connect via tablet bluetooth but need to use the app, I'm screwed. Bosch, you honestly think we are going to take our time to email your designers to help improve it? Try testing it first. You've wasted enough of our time.
3 ★ I have the Samsung Tab S6 and I love this app. The only thing I need fixed, is the side and bottom menus in quick sketch and detailed plans are not appearing. Which I have to delete and create new when I make mistake. Please help! Would love to be able to use this feature.
2 ★ Ok at best. Lots of problems with adding measurements and then layout not properly adjusting. Poor user experience with keyboard popping up all the time and when you try to hide it you are excited from your project. It just comes down to lazy developers. They should be ashamed to have put the Bosch logo on this app.
1 ★ very bad app, not only will it NOT connect via Bluetooth to my galaxy tab s6, but there are no function buttons in the app when trying to do detailed plan. all function buttons are present on my note 8 but not on tablet. what kind of garbage is this?
2 ★ It's better than nothing is about all I can say. There are limitations that make absolutely no sense. For example, if I want to write in a dimension for a string, why can I only go to one decimal place? If something is 4.25" I have to write 4.2. Why? What's the purpose of limiting to one decimal place? We want the measurement photos to be placed with the job on our server. The export function within the app makes a mess out of the photos. They'll be cropped and super-imposed on top of themselves with the dimensions cut off. I've tried exporting multiple times with the same results. Obviously, the photos aren't worth much if the dimensions are chopped off. So, yes, better than nothing. I do get valuable information in the field without lugging around clipboards and pens. Just a lot of hassle/sacrifices to go with the convenience.
1 ★ Aggravating... The keyboard pops open every time i tap on the screen. I then have to tap my back button every time I tap the screen, to close the keyboard. It's maddening.
1 ★ laser works great, app is great idea, but it is useless. nothing for windows? who can work on smartphones while bigger project. If i can bring my laptop to the site and work right there ... that would be great
1 ★ Terrible. Unless you plan to draw nothing but unattached square rooms, this app is worse than useless. Wall lengths do not update making it all but impossible to create even a very basic floor plan and totally pointless to link to the GLM 50 (I'm returning mine asap) Save yourself a few bucks and get one w/o Bluetooth, or dig deep and buy a Leica.
4 ★ I primarily use the area calculator and measurement list features to assist with calculating estimates. When connected via Bluetooth, the measurement list feature allows you to pull area measurements directly from the measuring device. This feature would be very helpful with the area calculator. Do you know if this is possible? If not, then I reccomend you add it as a new feature.
3 ★ Has issues with thickness of the wall, and when I do the exact same measurements with a cad program the only diagonal wall is not the same distance as measurement the cad program gives. Measure on could be alot more fairly easily. Can't erase walls or lines. It is hard to snap walls in 90 or 45. More functionality would be great. But for free it's fine. Wouldn't use in the field though. It would be nice to have a manual or in depth tutorial.
3 ★ To be fair I should give it 4 stars! But, I'm going to give it three stars for two reasons. The app is a little bit clunky. It takes a bit to get all of your measurements imported correctly by way of Bluetooth link it has a small learn curve but manageable. Definitely a huge improvement over a tape measure. Especially for the linear range with the 50c model for basic handyman 165 ft. Application has promise if your tech savvy.
1 ★ Wall length, once manually input, is not changed to actual length on the drawing. This lack of foresight makes the app useless for practically all applications. I am surprised that Bosch has not addressed this deficiency Do not buy the laser tool if you plan to use it to make plans. I am returning it tomorrow.
5 ★ why can't measurements be inserted manually in fractions? quick sketch won't allow angled walls? very little info about using app. Bosch YouTube playlist for the app is useless. I will wait patiently for promised updates. in the meantime, I will continue using the picture feature with measurements. it is pretty incredible for quick, referenced measurements on the fly. All 5 stars are directed towards that feature alone. the entirety of other app features remain useless to me.
1 ★ puting windows and doors is a nightmare, it is not smart enough to recognize your measures and scale it, when you want to remeasure a wall it will change the number but not scale that line anymore. disapointing app with really basic features. when you use pictures and put measures on the picture and then export it as image, it will ruine the lines of measures and even change the numbers. in sketch mode you can not play with size of opening, it is just one size which is 3ft and no changeable.
