PROMOTE is a collective work of general interest to the business promotion organized by the International Foundation of Swiss law INTER-PROGRESS, which controls all its activities since its Regional Antenna in Yaoundé in reference to the Cooperation Agreement signed on 02 April 1993 with the State of Cameroon. PROMOTE is organized with a mandate from the Cameroonian Government represented by the Ministry of Commerce and the supervision of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic. PROMOTE management is not lucrative.

Since the first edition of the PROMOTE in 2002 and noticed the progress and outstanding performance of the Organizer Mandated signified by the mandating authorities, partner institutions, exhibitors from here and elsewhere, but also the general public perceive visitors leave a formula that could be described as magical so the material, logistical and human ingredients involved in this success are a unique nature and very specific to PROMOTE.

The Mandate by the most High Cameroonian authorities: the technical organization, logistics and material as well as managing PROMOTE entrusted to the International Foundation Inter-Progress, under Swiss law, within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed in 1993. this status reinforces the mobilizing assets from the public sector and mobilizes sponsorships and civic actions. For the balance of jobs and resources, the Cameroonian government provides a subsidy representing approximately 15% of resources; other resources are citizen donations, sponsorships of major companies and the contribution of participants who receive subsidized prices.
