Description
Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings.
All settings can also be adjusted using the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 app:

1 ★ Absolute garbage. My Samsung will not connect to app as it forces me to update from version 1.4 to 1.44. I try to update and the app crashes. I restart and it tells me to update. App crashes. Stuck in a never ending loop.
1 ★ The app is absolute rubbish. Can't connect to the cam despite numerous attempts. It's with frustration that lead me to contribute to the negative feedback.
1 ★ Dosen t work on last android version in Samsung s20 ultra 5g. Dosen t work anymore when entering new ssid and password. The save button dosen t function, i press it 100k times.

Had it fitted before I bought my mini, not worked properly yet 3weeks on..have to sit in the car with engine running to view recordings. I'm sure shouldn't have to do this!! 26/06/2021 Update I never got it to work last Samsung 📱 I have just upgraded my phone and tried to connect it again!! no can do...totally disgusted ...

1 ★ Very disappointed in the poor quality of this app! I have an android phone and it is not compatible despite your instructions which don't work like what other users have experienced. I wish I didn't bother paying £600 for the camera to be installed in my mini. You seriously need to make a better app, premium car brand with a high school app design.

I've had no end of problems with this installation and I still can't get the cameras working on my samsung android phone.Be aware it doesn't record in the dark when most thieves strike, no infa ray,and if you leave car parked for a long time with camera on the car battery goes flat which happened to me! Major problem is ACE are based in Germany with no after sales reps in England so you can only email them, no phone Either!
1 ★ Awful app. So complicated for something that should be so simple. Poor quality from BMW espically the price it is.
1 ★ Even though the SSID matches the wifi, it won't automatically allow to view the recordings. I have to try to reconnect it MANY times, then after can use it or most of the times NEVER. Useless product on a BMW car!
1 ★ I was sceptical at first reading the reviews here on this app and the hardware installed in the car. After only one week, I now realise my mistake. This app and system are like something from the dark ages of technology. I could and should have gone for none generic item from QVC. It would def be better than this poor offering from BMW. Please be advised that this review is from an owner and user.
1 ★ This app is not good... I am not able to get the app to connect my phone to the camera. The Eye was installed by my local BMW service (the first one they ever installed, btw) and the camera works but the app doesn't connect to the camera or my Android phone. 3 ★ Had this app for over a ear. At first I struggled to work it out but have now got it (I think). It is very far from simple and easy to use. Image quality is quite good but recording rear and front recordings within one file means you need the app to view them (cannot do it using just usual video players). Tried it on Phone which proved easier than a Windows PC but still struggling to email files.
