Description
Now with TempTraq Connect! Remotely monitor TempTraq patches from virtually anywhere in conjunction with a local Bluetooth enabled iOS or Android device and data connection.
The app requires the TempTraq patch to function. TempTraq is a Class II medical device and is only available for sale in the US. The TempTraq app is only available for download in the US.
TempTraq allows a child to rest when they are ill with an elevated temperature. There is no need to disturb the child to take a temperature measurement so the child can rest and the parents can be confident knowing their child's temperature.
TempTraq Patch
The TempTraq patch is designed to be worn with the sensor in the armpit area measuring axillary temperature. TempTraq measures under-the-arm "axillary" temperature and this is converted to an oral temperature which is displayed in the TempTraq app.
TempTraq App
The TempTraq app provides an intuitive and easy to use interface to view the temperature data transmitted from the patch.
Displays both current and historical temperature data transmitted from the patch
Monitors multiple patches assigned to multiple children
Enables sharing of patch data with other TempTraq Connect users
Uses color to indicate temperature levels
o Green – less than 100.4° F
o Orange – equal to or greater than 100.4° F
o Red – temperature equal to or greater than a user defined alert temperature
Generates an alert on the smart device when the temperature is equal to or greater than a user defined alert temperature
Provides temperature history over the 24 or 48 hour use period of the patch in both graphical and data table views
Enables the user to enter notes for medication, baths, feeding and other events
Displays temperatures in either C or F
Enables temperature data to be exported via e-mail as a .csv file
The TempTraq app is compatible with Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) capability, running Android OS 4.3 or later.

5 ★ I was actually waiting for it to not work because of so many bad reviews I had read. But it actually worked. It's so much better than having to wake baby up to get a reading. Only issue is that the adhesive is very sticky. Poor baby cried when I tried to remove the patch.
1 ★ Bought a tracker for my baby girl who had a fever and needed rest. Thought the idea of this was fantastic. The tracker barely wanted to connect, and when it did it would do 2 temp checks and stop communicating. Waste of money and potential.
1 ★ Patch does not work. App does not work. These patches are $20 a piece for a one time 24 hour use. This company probably should have done a few more trials with this before selling it. Really disappointed.
1 ★ Wouldn't connect, not sure what the power source is for this patch but it never connected to my device. When your dealing with a sick kid last thing you need is something wasting your time and money.
1 ★ So so disappointed in this! Loved the idea of being able to not have to wake my baby during the night to check his temp so I paid the $20 for a single patch. Literally has given me one reading. Got a notification saying it was out of range after an hour and it has not reconnected since. I am literally RIGHT BESIDE HIM. So incredibly frustrating to spend that much money on something that doesn't even work. I guess I should've read the reviews before buying. Hopefully their customer service is better than the product. Will not be buying this product again.
4 ★ My son contacted the Flu, his temp was all over the place, his temp got up to 104.4, even after alternating tylenol/ibuprofen. Went to CVS to pick up his RX & found this little gem - it's expensive $20. It alerted me right on time. Only 4 stars b/c you only get one sticker for 24hrs. In my humble opinion, there should be AT LEAST 2 per packet. App was quick and easy. Thank you and kudos to whomever made this app/product - brought peace to this worried mama's heart!
2 ★ Inaccurate temperature, I had a couple temperature takers, but I bought this so I could keep a check while my son was sleeping, but it reads ALOT lower than the actual temperature, I even tried moving it a few times and still wrong, I'll be calling to complain, glad it was on sale, but still a lot for 1 use! That fails :/
4 ★ My son is 11 years old I bought this so I don't have to keep waking him up he's been running a fever for the last 4 days of a 104.5 and right now currently his temperature with oral thermometer is 100.3 but according to the sticker it says 97 degrees very inaccurate Also my son says it's very uncomfortable and feels like there's something poking him I've taken several screenshots of the app temp. but I can't post pictures. UPDATED: Now it seems to be accurate. What I have noticed is if he's laying in a normal sleeping position with his arms to his side it is more accurate if his arms are up it shows a cooler body temperature but now that he's went to sleep and he's laying with his arm to his side and it is accurate
3 ★ Mixed feelings on this. Pros: Throughout the day, I was able to get real time updates. While my hand and a standard thermometer can do the same, it was nice to see the trends at the end of the day. Was able to monitor his temp during daytime naps. Cons: I can't receive updates from my bedroom to his nursery at night. When I'm in range it filled the data back in but it missed the point of getting alerts at night. The patch came off while changing clothes (but adhered nicely again) The temperature was 1.5 - 2 degrees cooler than forehead and rectal thermometer (but easy enough to mentally adjust the difference) I may buy this again when he's sick over the weekend again while he's young but the price point and cons are offputting. There is some ease and peace of mind but not at night when I expected it most.
2 ★ App is buggy and inconsistent. Spent more time fooling with the phone in the nursery than just taking temp every few hours based on medication intervals. Not worth the price. Also randomly loses cloud connection so other phones cant monitor patch. Would not buy again.
2 ★ Should have read the reviews before buying. Waited over 30 minutes and it says my daughters temperature is 96.5. Checked rectal and its 99.8 not buying again.

1 ★ The box says the expiration date is 6/2017, while the patch itself says it expires 6/2016. Seeing as how it is now 3/2017 and the patch doesn't even register in the app, I'm assuming it expired in 2016 and I'm a little angry. A lot angry. Total waste of time and money when I thought it was going to be a godsend for my sick son and I.
2 ★ spent too much money for something that is a one time use product that didn't even work the way it was supposed to. kept saying out of range when the phone was literly RIGHT by my child!!! Love the idea it needs a lot of the glitches fixed updated or something! I was really excited to use this as I thought it would really give my very sick toddler the peace to rest better without me having to mess with him sooo much.. NOT TRUE!
