Description
This app provides a single point of contact to your home camera network. There is no need to insecurely open individual cameras to the Internet. This app connects using a secure and session-based protocol--no passwords are transmitted in plain text.

4 ★ Lastest app update has now broke the app. Do you guys not test this or should I go back to tinycam? Edit 2021-04-27. Since yesterdays update. Now the app is totally broken. I cannot connect to my server "unable to reach server". The setup is correct. I have already lost the encrypted connection now it doesn't even work. Edit: 2021-04-29. They have updated the app and corrected the issue which now works.
4 ★ Update: now login working again, fyi the change log says fixed login for BI server v4, but I have v5 and was still an issue, so yea... But at least working again... Old:3.0.21 I could connect to my local server no worries, now have 3 Android phones on .25 that can't, but one on .21 that is still working. Local lan web browser works fine ... Errors is can't connect to server... Please fix asap
5 ★ UPDATE: Thanks for the fix! Able to log in again. UPDATE: Latest update broke logging in on the app for phone and tablet. IOS devices still work android version is currently useless. Last update is great! The app is speedier than ever and I'm really pleased at how quickly I can switch between video streams. Thanks for continuing to improve it!
1 ★ Since upgrading to the new app there is often a long connection delay before I can view cameras on first open. In the same time I can remotely into my blue iris server and see the cameras there while the slow app is still loading. Please fix this.
1 ★ Not good, the old ver worked great. This new ver dosnt work, cant view camera alerts now The clip preview no longer shows the date and time. Some clips dont play, screen just hangs and the play/ pause button does nothing. Another day, another app issue. Now I am getting duplicate file recordings! Another day, another issue. The entire screen is not viewable in landscape mode. Another day, another issue , now the reset status, reset alerts no longer does anything. U
1 ★ Rating as 1 star since I have not received a response from support on an issue that should not exist -- that is, the use of SSL connection when other apps (other 3rd party mobile app, chrome browser on phone and desktop) seem to work without any problems. While the SSL connectivity is certainly an issue, the lack of response from the developer should always be a concern when there is a fee involved.
3 ★ Annoying ongoing repeat notifications for camera alerts. You get the first notification then constant random repeat notifications for that old alert. It should only be one unless repeated trigger but it does not work that way. The notification hell is probably the most irritating thing about this app otherwise it's fairly sound.
1 ★ Kinda, sorta works Update: not working at all now. Update: It worked. then it didn't, then after much trouble shooting had to have App read QRC code from Blue Iris on PC to get it working again. Too unstable, deleting app. Going to use UI3 with browser. Search on YouTube to find out how to use.
2 ★ This is a rollercoaster of an app. V2 was ok. V3 made some improvements (it fixed a problem where flipping between apps meant have to shut down this app otherwise streaming would fail). However in a recent release they broke that again and as of late April it doesn't work at all, instead refusing to connect to any servers. I could live with the terrible UI if the application just did what it was supposed to but every release seems to bring problems.
4 ★ I gave V3 another shot. I dropped stunnel since it's broken and I'm using a reverse proxy with my own ssl cert, this resolved my ssl issues. The app seems to be working better now and my pop up notifications are showing the images again. Stacked notifications work and are a welcomed change. I wish the UI was more modern but overall i'm finding it's working pretty good now. If you can't get ssl working it's all explained in the forums, but should be better explained in the documentation.
4 ★ Arlo refugee here. Overall I like the app and BI, in general. I'm happy with the switch, especially with Deep Stack. My biggest complaint is how small the preview images are in the app, they need to be twice the size.
1 ★ This new version of the app is terrible. The interface is not intuitive and it does not work with SSL. I'm using a legit cert and have no problems connecting with any web browser. Ive emailed support several times with ZERO response. Why am I paying for support when they never respond? Is there a way to install the old version????
4 ★ Should have known Microsoft was going to be the reason my BI app stopped working. I had allowed BI through my firewall but apparently some update to Windows 10 removed BI from the list of apps allowed. What's really weird is that I turned off all the firewalls when I was troubleshooting and it still didn't work. Screwed by Microsoft again!
1 ★ App no longer connects at all. I have a feeling its the SSL problem. I have abandoned the app and am forced to use the web ui. I could understand this being a problem with some free app but I paid for this and its no longer functional. I will be seeking a refund.
1 ★ As many, many others have said, the app no longer connects at all. So it's now completely useless. BI itself is fine, and connects through the Web UI, or through any of my Apple/iOS apps. Check the reviews - this problem goes back a LONG time. Inexcusable for a paid app.
