PalGate 1.6.0023 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to perform I/O operations over NFC.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

5 ★ Sleek and convenient app! It would be great if the admin features would be enhanced with remote controls management (add remote control serial number to a given user, revoke remote control access...) and a longer history log.

4 ★ Installed easy. Worked great the first time I used it. I would like to know if it is communicating by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or internet. Agree that it would be nice to have Android Auto or other way of putting it on my touch screen in my truck. Widgets are definitely way too large. They should be one by one not four by one. Or at least offer multiple widget sizes. I'm sure the developer is working on it. I do like the app.
3 ★ I tried to use this on an older phone running Android 4.4.2. PalGate is listed as compatible with this version and installs ok and works initially, but fails after phone has been switched off/restarted. Palgate tech support has been very helpful but hasn't been able to resolve the issue completely and I ended up having to buy a new phone just to run this app for access to one of my workplaces. The app works fine on a newer phone running Android 8. (Review updated 9 Jun 2019)

3 ★ Great app, only missing Google assistant integration When is the next release expected? Last update was back in August, and we're all waiting for googla assistant integration
3 ★ Lots of times needs restart becase it writes "no internet connection"
4 ★ Generally works, sometimes it takes a bit longer than you'd expect to recognize the gate and respond to pushing the button. Won't let me add a widget to the home screen, saying "Pal widget supports 3G devices only"
4 ★ It works great for me. Feature request: It would be nice to be able to rearrange the order of the different gates by dragging and dropping vertically, for example. Update: Thanks for including that feature. The next feature that would help a lot would be Android Auto integration. That would be perfect. Thanks!
3 ★ A great app. It would be nice to show whether the Gate is opening, closing or stoped at some point. Looking forward to seeing this feature. "Automatic closing (timing)" is another feature might please users, I would be glad to see in coming days.
2 ★ App is very hard to control. To open the gate I need press the icon, why not the whole tab that include the name? Your single(the smallest) widget taking half my screen please reduce it to normal size like all other apps. And if I choose not to give location permission I don't need reminder every time I opening the app.
3 ★ Overall a good experience, but the widget stops responding after several openings, and then I am forced to open the app. Removing and re-adding the widget solves this temporarily.
5 ★ Prompt response from the support for dealing with issues. Now works great.
4 ★ Works well most of the time but very difficult to switch out of Android auto to enable the app. Then occasionally getting the restart your Bluetooth request. Would be great if it supported Android auto.
5 ★ Very useful. I am using PAL products for 1 year and I am satisfied. Will look forward for the new products.
