1 ★ App stopped working with all of my purifiers and won't communicate olor change settings via app. It's so hard to reconnect them too. Super frustrating how junky the app is. What other users are having issues with is not a user error it's an app error. DO NOT pay extra for an app enabled device from them. Good purifiers except for their garbage app. Also when you click support in the app all I get is "Something Went Wrong". Such a waste to have a non-functional app

3 ★ In my opinion the interface is not very intuitive. For one thing, I don't understand the point of the graph when it's almost always empty except for the last few days, even though the unit has been running constantly for weeks. Also, I just set up a schedule and it didn't work. I think the only use I've gotten out of the app is when I first set up the unit with wi-fi, and when I'm too lazy to get up to change the fan speed.

4 ★ Unfortunately, when trying to register, the app says an account already exists, yet when trying to reset the password, said phantom account does not exist, and the app can't be used without logging in, rendering it worthless. Updated the review because the developer fixed the issues with login and registration. The app now works without issue.

3 ★ After a few months of use, I've had to reset my purifier and reinstall the app in order to reconnect a few times. Smart features won't work without app. Original review: App did not show the Blue family of purifiers as an option when trying to connect my Pure 411i Max for the first time, so I wasn't able to use the app. I left a review here and contacted customer service and a week later the app had been updated to show the Blue purifier family so I was able to connect.

4 ★ I had to try to install the app several times & it didn't work THEN I went to the website & set up an account & then it took 2 minutes to finish the set up. Also, the auto feature actually works which is good because I have pets that kick up dust and on high it cleans that right out of my breathing air. Lol.

3 ★ The app looks deceptively nice, but the actual implementation is very low-quality. To begin with, it can’t remember my address—I add my location, assign the device to it, but only a minute later it starts showing other random addresses nearby instead of mine. However, the main disappointment for me is that, apparently, air quality is not recorded on the server when the app is not running, so you have a graph, but you can’t check what the AQI was while you were asleep and the app was closed.

1 ★ The app doesn't do all that it says it can. It can do basic things like turning it on and off and adjusting the soeed, but the schedule feature doesn't work (the time comes and goes with nothing happening), and the child lock feature doesn't work (I'll turn it on in the app and then my toddler runs by and taps it a few times and all the settings are messed up).

3 ★ the app definitely has issues, however, it is usable. some of the issues that I have are random crashes, when I close the app and then open again I have to sign in fresh (this can occur however many times I restart the app...), it's deregistered all of my air purifiers... that was super annoying (I have 3 connected units), the sensors on the classic don't seem to be very accurate or the app just sucks as showing the data, not sure which.

3 ★ Although the Blueair purifier is effective at improving indoor air quality, the app and smart features need a lot of work. I have two brand new identical air purifiers and one simply won't run on a schedule. Both of them suddenly disconnected from the app and showed up as offline. I had to remove them from my account and add them back to fix the issue. App won't save your location.

1 ★ this is still the worst app I've got. Bought the blueair 400 in Shanghai a year ago, live in shanghai, couldn't get it to connect to the app then- wasted long frustrating hours. finally accepted that the app was too buggy and primitive to use, so since then used the air cleaner on auto. a year and many updates go by, I think I'll try it again. when I start it up and try to connect to the machine I'm immediately blocked from connecting by an error message that says my account and the region I'm in don't match. It says I have to create a new account. did, with a different email address; still in Shanghai, me and the machine. same error. went to the help page which showed up in Chinese, set the language to English, it agreed, then returned to the Chinese language help page. waste of time. the current version looks more polished than a year ago, but it's still a useless waste of bits and time.

1 ★ This app is a joke when it comes to connecting a device. I have one air purifier already connected, but when trying to connect a second it first told me my (correct) wifi password was wrong. I tried several times, switched wifis, unplugged the machine, uninstalled the app, logged out, and while it doesn't say it's the wrong password, now it just won't load after I type in my password. It connected to Bluetooth fine, why do I need wifi too?

3 ★ The app design is good but execution has issues. Consistently shows my purifiers as offline.... some combination of closing and reopening the app while changing the wifi settings is the only way to see their status. The graphs over time are also super fiddly, automatically jumping around if I'm trying to scroll to see what was happening at a certain time.

1 ★ The worst connectivity issues ever. Unit is connected to router so don't blame it on my wifi signal... Verified it's fine. Problem is every time I launch the app it shows device not connected (offline) then I've gotta refresh a couple times and suddenly it appears and is connected. It's obviously a glitch or a poor interface with the app. Please fix this!

4 ★ UPDATE: Blueair updates the app so now you can connect to an air purifier using a wifi network using any allowable password. Previously if you had certain characters in your password, like a space, you had to change your WiFi password just to use the app. 1* to 4*. Now that I can use the app, it's quite nice and easy to use. If they could move on to the Google integration to allow simple commands like, "Turn Off my Air Purifier" or "Set the Air Purifier to Auto" that would be great - 5*.

1 ★ Slow, buggy, annoying. For such an expensive device, this app is unacceptable. Regularly goes offline and fails to connect to the device. Then you have to delete, reinstall the app and go through the entire setup process again. Maybe at the 4th attempt it'll connect to the device - I waste 20 minutes every time this happens, unbelievable.
