Download the latest OpenMovieVR application, version 2.2.0, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Entertainment app is developed by blendFX GbR and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 2.2.0, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
This app is a work in progress. Mainly we created it just for fun. But since many people really seem to like this app we realized our hosting and streaming costs were much higher than we thought. That's why we decided to start selling additional content. We need to pay our bills! :)!
Now you can also watch your own movies in the various environments (after purchasing the OpenCamcorder ;)

App permissions
OpenMovieVR 2.2.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to perform I/O operations over NFC.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the vibrator.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

5 ★ This is the FUTURE. If the devs can get sell it to big movie studios and producers. Imagine releasing a movie in VR with ties to this, say Hulk smashes and parts of the debris get thrown at the viewers, haha. Use an entire environment as an advertisement, say Coca Cola room or factory or a private seat on a famous Airline. That'll give you the funds to develop this. Baby steps. I bought this because i believe this is how it'll be in the future with VR & AR. Needs more tweaking though. 1.) Video tracking, rewind and fforwrd. 2.) Use VR button to reset position. 3.) Laying on bed option. 4) Dim light in entire room option 5) option to send feedback.
3 ★ It's a good example of what can be done with cheap VR, but there's a terrible problem with drift. To keep looking at the screen I have to slowly spin around about once over about every five minutes; with both an LG Nexus and a S7 edge, same problem. Needs more controls for playback too; only stop and pause are available. Between these two issues, it's basically unusable, but it has promise.
4 ★ Everything is good and I purchased the camrecorder so now I'm able to play my own movies. I appreciate your email support. You guys are quick in response! I hope we see new features in the next update.
3 ★ Thanks I bought the camcorder. I was afraid it was actually gonna be a real camcorder for a few hundred dollars. Lol.
5 ★ One of the best vr app i've ever used a suggestion, please add more feature to the OpenCamcoder like playback control and more video slots, and. Also i notice the cassette tape player below the desk, if possible could you add feature and environment for music.

5 ★ Basically this puts you in a virtual living room where you watch short animated films on a big TV. And sometimes the environment around you changes with the film that you are watching. It's alot of fun and I've probably spent more time with it than any other cardboard app. I just hope they add more films since there is only 4 right now, or at least they should add the option of playing your own videos from your gallery or maybe from YouTube or something. Other than that it's really neat and worth a try.
5 ★ The graphics are beautiful the secenery is a wow factor of 10 in all well put together and just amazing would be even better if you added suport to watch youtube and other thing from storage i would be willing to pay for the extra features

5 ★ the people giving 1 star can't read ...consider it more a demo and it's defo 5 stars very good and worth a whirl ,clips could be longer :) or more still very good
4 ★ Would definetely pay for this, if it would include Storage and Plex media playback. Cmoar cinema can already do this but yours look more promising.
5 ★ Hey guys, this is really an amazing concept, the quality, details and resolution on the virtual scenarios is really good, keep up the good work, if you add the posibility of using it as a theater for watching videos on local storage or through plex and streaming it would be perfect,
