Description
Direct Eskom customers and municipalities listed below are able to download schedules and get warning notifications before their power is scheduled to turn off, others can still get notifications when the stage changes!

I wrote this app for myself and have decided to share it, hopefully, you find it useful. I add new features and maintain schedules in my spare time!

This application uses loadshedding schedules provided by Eskom and local Municipalities but is in no way linked to the them. Information and warnings are based on publicly available data sources and best effort algorithms, we cannot accept any liability or losses arising out of the information given in this app.

Load Shedding Alert 1.58 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the vibrator.

1 ★ Does not work for KZN anymore. What happened? I installed it, was able to select KZN and suburb. But not town or city. Now as soon as I select KZN there's no further options available.

3 ★ Not accurate when compared with the official Durban Schedule. E.g. times for area 22 and 23 are shown for levels 3 and 4 only whereas the schedule includes these areas in level 2. If this can be fixed it will be a good app.
4 ★ Works fine only thing wish it could get is when city of cape town has different stage of load shedding as eskom. Like at time of review shows stage but city of cape town page said 1.
