Description
In this latest upgrade BASELANTERN users have improved connectivity and can unlock a suite of features including: Brightness & Color Control, Proximity Activation, Real-Time Battery Feedback, Sleep Timers/Alarms, Party Mode & BPM Music Matching, and remote control of BioLite SiteLight integration for overhead lighting.
For FIREPIT users, this app enables you to control Airflow Settings right from your phone as well as see real-time battery feedback on your Airflow Back so you can manage your energy according to your needs.
App permissions
BioLite Energy 2.0.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

3 ★ I ended up with two biolite base lanterns, regular not the XL's. It would be nice to be able to control more than one of these lanterns at the same time. One mode to control them with two different pages that could be swiped back and forth and another mode to control them all with one page on the UI.
4 ★ The app crashes as soon as I try to pair it with the BaseLantern. UPDATE. I reached customer service & they said to do the following. It worked, so I'm no longer disappointed with the lantern. 1. Un-pair your phone & lantern in Bluetooth settings + delete the app. 2. Reset the lantern: connect the lantern to a working power source & press the small reset button on the bottom (press hard). Charge lantern for 6 hours. 3. Re-download the app + re-pair the lantern.
1 ★ For starters the app has different functions in an iPhone compared to an Android, ie the select single side feature or music beat. It rarely connects. The time.background is white on whitehite so you can't see time selected. I don't know why companies have apps that they invest no money in. It just harms your brand.
1 ★ On a pixel 4 and can't find any devices. Yet my iPhone works like a charm. Well that's just lovely. I guess I will keep an iPhone just to operate my firepit.
1 ★ App immediately asked for permission to access my devices(phone) location. No reason to know where my phone is for this to work. Uninstalled, which is too bad, because I could see this being extremely useful. Guess I'll never know. Fix this if you want to retain me as a customer.
1 ★ It doesn't exactly work. Can't connect without a bunch of extra steps. Forgets the connection. Won't stay connected, and when it is connected it force closes the app when you push a button.
5 ★ Works great for me. Everything work exactly how it's supposed to. The proximity function shut the light off when it goes out of range but have to reconnect app when you get back in range - light did turned back on.
5 ★ I received my fire pit several days ago and once I put an initial charge to the battery I downloaded this app. I seems to work as advertised with my unit so I'm perfectly happy with it.

1 ★ cannot connect to device 9 times out of 10. and on the off chance it does connect, it will lose pairing after a couple of weeks. lousy.
1 ★ holyshit your software sucks. I can see the Bluetooth is connected under connections on my phone, but your app refuses to connect. how about you fire your current Bluetooth driver developer and hire somebody that knows what they're doing.
1 ★ Bluetooth connects but the app cant find the fire pit. Please fix this problem. This app has not been updated since 2018
4 ★ Good but on my phone I can't get the settings at the bottom of my screen,
5 ★ Works as advertised for Firepit. Not sure why people can't figure this out. If you understand Bluetooth, you'll have no issues.
