5 ★ Clear and concise. My one wish is that I could use the sensors as screen overlays. I have Ulysse Speedometer, but it doesn't provide this functionality or detail availability my 10.1 tablet can display. Also, Speedometer is coming geared towards connectivity usage. I use an offline navigator, Sygic, and these would be perfect. Settings and Help are visible on my tablet, but not on my phone (both 4+). Similarly, despite the same sensors available, everything works on the phone, but on the tablet, it will either not work or will wait a long period of time and suddenly start working. Its not life or death for me, and its still gorgeous, functional, high quality and free. Great understated non-ad for Speedometer.
4 ★ Updt: Lowered my orig 5☆ rating to 4/5 fr ~10 yrs ago simply bc at the time it was unique looking w gr8 potential. But he left it. What cd've bn gr8 is simply a novelty now. It wd've bn nice if he'd let someone finish it, add to it, etc. Wrk on accuracy (ie calibration) among other things. At the time it was the sharpest looking app for its genre. I'd hoped it wd b a Swiss Army Knife type gizmo. A droid gizmo=GIZMOID! 😎 It's still sharp looking... once u dust it off! 😉
2 ★ I loved this app on my galaxy s-5. I recently bought a galaxy s-7. I will be willing to change from 2 stars to 5 if someone can tell me how to open the settings on my s-7. New phone reverted back to lat/long. I would like to change back to MGRS but can't open settings. PLEASE HELP!
5 ★ This is one of the best compass/GPS tools I have ever used. But it FC on one of my devices with the following message: E/AndroidRuntime( 2395): FATAL EXCEPTION: main E/AndroidRuntime( 2395): java.lang.SecurityException: Neither user 10051 nor current process has android.permission.WAKE_LOCK. E/AndroidRuntime( 2395): at android.os.Parcel.readException(Parcel.java:1247) E/AndroidRuntime( 2395): at android.os.Parcel.readException(Parcel.java:1235) It would be appreciated if this problem can be so solved.
4 ★ Distance-to-waypoint accessibility fixed! However, level/clinometer doesn't seem to respond to changes in orientation. Tap/long press doesn't seem to zero, either. Other than that, still an amazing toolkit! Droid RAZR Maxx HD
5 ★ Full osgb grid references, heading in mils, nearest address and postcode, bearing to way points. The only thing I could ask for is integration with offline osgb maps. Would be willing to pay £3-£5 for this app as is, but it's free!
4 ★ Two problems though. Theoretical magnetometer values stuck at 50 microteslas and 0º dec and inc, and there is no correction for magnetic and true north. Used to work.... Is it my phone???? Otherwise awesome.
4 ★ Great app, I have tried about 7 apps and all failed to meet my expectations. Great tool for not only polar aligning, but also levelling the mount. I would pay for this app. Martin Ferlito
4 ★ Promises much and has great potential. But: -the spirit level is inaccurate compared with "bubble" & "teeter" & reality - app locks up sometimes
4 ★ This is a very good app. There is one thing though. As a convention, when a position is notified in latitude and longitude, latitude should come first and then the longitude. In this app, longitude is mentioned first. This needs to be corrected, otherwise I would rate this five star.
5 ★ Totally useful, I am very impressed, but if we can download and use offline map to set and bookmarks our own waypoint it can be totally awesome! :) so far, I'm very satisfied, but i really hope if there any updates and fulfill my recommendations.. :) G Young.
4 ★ Very nice set of tools with an attractive interface. I haven't had a need to use all of the tools yet, but those that I have used have been easy and comprehensive. Well worth the storage space it takes even if you don't have need for it all the time.
