Description
Look, just buying groceries without rewards or coupons is fine. That’s how our grandparents used to do it, and they turned out alright. But if you have an app that can save you time, money, and earn you points - why not buy groceries and reap those benefits? Seems like a no-brainer.
So, what all does the Bi-Lo app cover? Let’s do a list! People on the internet love lists.
DEALS
• So many deals. The Deal of the Week, our Weekly Ad, Deals For You based on your shopping history. If there’s a way for you to save money, earn extra points, or BOTH (seriously, peep that Deal of the Week), it’ll be in the app.
COUPONS
• The Savings tab features SO MANY COUPONS and while that may seem overwhelming, it also features a very simple filter feature to help you find exactly what kind of coupon you’re looking for.
POINTS
• The main reason you signed up for our Rewards program. Or should we say, the whole “point” of the program? Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves. The app stores your Rewards card, so you can easily scan it on every grocery trip. You can also track your points in the app, and decide how to spend them - on future grocery purchases or fill-ups at Shell fuel stations!
MYSTERY BONUS
• We can’t tell you what this is, hence the name.
MYSTERY BONUS (FOR REAL)
• Okay, but seriously - Mystery Bonuses are points multipliers that used to be printed on your receipt. So back in the day, you used to have to bring your paper receipt back to rack up those extra points. But NOW, we’ve have finally caught up to the present day! We no longer shop by candlelight, our stores are air conditioned, and Mystery Bonuses now appear digitally in the app!
POPULARITY
• We have no real way of testing this - and thus no discernible proof - but we have a real strong feeling that just having the app on your phone will make you significantly cooler. All the money saving and points earning is just a real confidence booster, you know?
So that’s our list. Pretty sweet, eh? We know there weren’t a lot of buzzwords, and we would’ve loved to include a “Which frozen food promotion are you?” personality quiz, but that’s not an option here in the app store. But you have to admit, we do make a pretty compelling case for why you should have the Bi-Lo app on your mobile device. 1 ★ Weekly ad hasn't loaded or synched in several months. Food Lion had this issue last year, but they cleared it up in a few weeks. Maybe you should recruit some of their app writers.
5 ★ Never seems to open in the store. Very strange. I open it in the parking lot and it works fine when checking out. Its very convenient for adding coupons and using mystery bonuses. Great for keeping track of points too
1 ★ Been using Bi-Lo for YEARS and have used app for a couple years and never had a problem. This last update does not load any coupons and keeps crashing on me. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but reinstall will not work. Fix this app! Too many problems.

4 ★ Please add shopping list. I would like to add things to my shopping list so I don't have to use a separate app for my list. Would also like to be able to see that a coupon is available to clip for a sale item.

1 ★ May 21 I left a review saying it seems to be working. Now. on the 23rd, it's back to it's old tricks of items disappearing again.Also it sometimes won't even allow you to add an Item. With as expensive as they are, you'd think yhey could make an app that works. It used to work correctly for a long time, but the last few months, it's been hit and miss. I don't think it's the app as much as it is the servers at Bi-Lo corp. that needs the overhaul.
2 ★ After wandering up and down aisles today then following an employee doing the same I know what this app needs... a search feature. I know that it wouldn't be 100% effective since half the stuff they advertise either isn't really on sale or isn't in the store but it would sure help. Most big box home improvement stores use their apps to help you find items in the store so why can't BI-LO? All I wanted were raisens so the employee and I wandered around for 10 minutes until we found them on the breakfast aisle. Yeah right, brings back memories of Wally World doesn't it. Minus 1 star for a lazy app and 2 for all the sale stuff that was already out of date.
5 ★ Setting my store doesn't work at all, even with location permission granted. Can't do much without having a store set. Samsung S10 running Android 10. ***UPDATE: FIXED***: Kudos to the devs for promptly fixing the issue with setting location. I easily set my store and can use the app. It's well designed and snappy to use. It's got exactly what I need. Easy to load coupons, see weekly ad, and display my barcode.
1 ★ As of Feb 6, this app is still the worst grocery app on the planet!!! There is no longer a shopping list, which there used to be, that showed you which aisle your item was on. There is also no way to add extra items to the crappy "list" that has replaced the shopping list. Bring it back and I will give you your 5 🌟
3 ★ Great before last update now it is super slow and usually closes. Would love to see a feature that allows us to see when we receive the deal of the week rewards. Or maybe allow us go click on it like a coupon so when it is removed from the list we know we got credit for it.
1 ★ My god this app drops more than lol mobile and thats a brand new. The pictures dont load up quite correctly and whenever i refresh thats when it crashes. I also hate the 200 word limit on the nomination page. I had so much more to say about my nominee. Looking at the other reviews its clear they really had a touch and go with this. Loads of bugs they had to fix even upon launching. Goodness. If it werent for the fact of convenience i would probs uninstall - v-
1 ★ The last update is horrible. They have removed the option to enter your own grocery list or add to the available options. This app is now useless. If this is not fix I will need to find a new app or start shopping at a different store. No option to select zero stars.
