Download the latest Deep Space Planner application, version 1.02, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by William Fasula and is easy to download and install.

Description

Deep Space Planner is an app to prepare a telescope observing list of deep space objects such as galaxies, nebula, and star clusters from the "The Historically Corrected New General Catalogue (HCNGC)". The list can be filtered by Right Ascension, Declination, Constellation, Object Type, and Maximum Magnitude. Once the list is generated, an item in the list can be selected to view more detailed information about the object. A share option is provided and the list can be sent to a printer if desired. A "night mode" option switches to app to a black background with red lettering so it can be used while at the telescope. The free version has a magnitude limit of 8 but the Pro version does not have a magnitude limitation. The app will calculate the local sidereal time for the current time and location. The date, time and longitude and be changed using the options in the Menu.
