Description
Turn your beyerdynamic Bluetooth® headphones into your very own headphones and add a personal touch to them via the MIY app. With three functions, you can adapt your Bluetooth® headphones perfectly to yourself and your individual hearing. This way, you can experience a splendid sound picture – in all its glorious detail.

PROFILE
In the above mentioned beyerdynamic Bluetooth® headphones, sound personalization by Mimi DefinedTM. Participate in a 3-minute long hearing test using the app and upload your sound profile directly to the headphones. Enjoy your music with sound that is perfectly tailored to you – regardless of the Bluetooth® device.
STATISTICS
Gain insight into your individual listening habits: the MIY app measures duration and volume of your daily listening. The so calculated sound dosage indicates when you should give your hearing a break.
TOUCH / REMOTE
The Aventho wireless, Amiron wireless and LAGOON ANC are controlled via the touch pad on the right ear cup. You can adjust the sensitivity of the touch pad according to your personal preferences. For Xelento wireless and Blue BYRD (2nd generation), you can find out about all features of the remote control.
Headphones require a firmware update:
A firmware update for all Android users of the headphones Aventho wireless, Amiron wireless and Xelento wireless is necessary to enable the headphones to connect to the lates MIY App version .
Download the firmware update tool under
https://byr.li/firmwareupdate (Windows or Mac)
and connect your headphones to your computer with an USB cable. You will then install the update step by step.

2 ★ The app is useless. Voice prompts re-enable and disturbs audio experience with loooooooong feedback. Lacks equilizer, personal sound makes sound experience worse. It lacks auto-power off. ANC significantly better after last update. Note*: the score reflects the app and software.. The hardware is very good
1 ★ The connection is really unstable. Much improvement needed to make it useful. As a companion app to a expensive pair of headphones these really disappoint. updated the firmware and the new app. now things appear to be even more broken. the app crashes when trying to connect to the headphone. seriously i can't believe how a company like Beyerdynamic is so poor in this department.
3 ★ I love the sound personalization. But too little functions in the apps. Can you please add the firmware update function so that i don't have to find my laptop to do so every time. Thanks.
1 ★ Updated aventho headphones with firmware update (process convoluted), followed the FAQ on the Beyer dynamic website for Android 7,8,9. App finds the headphones but cannot do the audio test. If I try the test with audio calls disabled like it says on the FAQ page I get a prompt saying headphones not connected with Bluetooth classic (what is Bluetooth classic?). If I do the test with audio calls enabled, I can start the test, I initially hear a tone but that cuts out and when I'm supposed to hold down until the tone goes away in the left ear I hear no tone and the button doesn't do anything. There's no progress in the bar. Worst app I've used period. The is by far the worst experience I've had buying a product. I would buy another product if I was thinking of getting these again. Not worth the price even if the sound is great without the app.
1 ★ Doesn't bond with or initialize my aventho wireless no matter what. I upgraded the firmware, disconnected, re-connected. Tried everything but couldn't bond the headphones. I expected much more from beyerdynamic. The least that could have been done was to mark this app as incompatible with my Android version in playstore or have a message in the app saying my version isn't compatible and save me the frustration.
4 ★ Apparently I am one of like... Eight people? Who got lucky with this app working as intended. Running android 8.0 with Amiron Wireless headphones. The app had some initial confusing messages regarding firmware and connection status but that cleared up by restarting the app (though the app is still 80% sure I am using Aventho wireless). The sound profile is neat; definite noticeable difference in sound profile with it on VS disabled (though the sound can feel a bit aggressive at full intensity).
1 ★ I just received my Lagoon ANC headphones, and downloaded the MIY app. It does not function properly at all. I cannot create a sound profile, due to an Error that states I need to check my internet. Tried to skip that, wontblet me enter my date of birth either stating the same error message. Completly disappointed. I just sent back the B&O h9i's because they didnt function well, and these maybe next.
2 ★ They have fixed some of the serious problems since early 2019 through Mar 2020. Uploading custom profiles to the headphones is still iffy. Als o the hearing test to build the profiles seems more like a reflex test sometimes than a hearing test. I don't think it is doing an accurate job a lot of the time because of that. They should test it with some people older than 25 who might actually need a hearing profile.

I can't connect the earphones to the app it require firmware update, and the only way to update it by mac or win un fortunately neither of them recocnize the earphone.another issue i found is the left is very louder than the right the problem is from the cable it self (the wireless cable ).When I tried the cable it get alot of static white noise. By the way I have more than 3 headphones from beyerdynamic And this one is the only one with issues
1 ★ I love my Aventho headphones but this app really does not perform well. If the headset gets bonded (what sometimes takes multiple tries), I can start the hearing test but after the initial sound no further sounds follow. I clicked many times on the big button below but nothing happens. Android 9 on Xiaomi Note 4 Edit: I reinstalled the app and now it can't even find the headphones even thought they are connected.
4 ★ A recent firmware update and re-doing the hearing test has made my Amiron wireless headphones sound amazing (I am 50), thanks. Next they need to fix the bluetooth dropping out trivially (front pocket to headphone a no-go in a busy street) and make it seemless for multiple devices to come and go then these will be the god level headphones they deserve to be.
4 ★ Huawei Mate 20 Pro after update, opened the app and it's found my blue byrd phones, but have still not been able to take the hearing test, if you click start it looks like it's opening a page but then crashes back to the beginning again, with a message " Failed to load personalization flow" so still not able to take the hearing test with Huawei Mate 20 pro, Tried with Samsung tab S4 and success hearing test works. Still won't do the hearing test Huawei M 20 pro even after re installing the app.
5 ★ This app SAVES the Lagoon ANC! Seriously! Update your firmware and get the better Active Noise Cancelation AND the MIY App and customize your sound profile. The difference is NIGHT and DAY! I have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 600ohm cans and nothing has ever compared to them, until now. Now, I have a pair of cans that has 20-45 hours of battery life and ALMOST the same sound quality but through Apt X instead of my PC's sound card. Almost the same quality of sound. Almost. Good enough!
2 ★ Really useless app. No indication of connection codec. Doesn't shows battery percentage. Not possible to change controlling gestures. Cant see paired devices (no prioritisation for paired devices). I wish you would better add possibility to buy different headphones cups for Amiron Wireless.
1 ★ With the latest update the app became useless. When I try to personlize my Aventho Wireless, they just start to sound awful, though I'm listening music in FLAC via AptX HD. Seems there is a huge spike around 200-300 hz and the headphones start to sound "boxy" and cheap. Please, fix the issue.
