2 ★ Total disappointment. Worst Kickstarter product I have ever bought. Doesn't work. Unless they fix and push new OTA update, total garbage. #Fail #Don'tWasteYourMoney
1 ★ Can't even make it through the set up, the app says I'm not connected to the betterspot Wi-Fi when I definitely am. And I think betterspot sent me a used device, mine had scuff marks on it right out of the box.
1 ★ I received my router and I'm all hooked up. BUT THE PROBLEM is that it's soooooo slow with the VPN on. I can't connect to my Xbox with the VPN connected. Very disappointed after spending $300+ on two boxes, I'm not happy Update: OK it's much better since my last review. The speed is faster and some what stable. But I don't like that after awhile (i.e. couple weeks or so...) the vpn goes down and you either have to restart the router or change to the direct or tor options. I'm not sure if it's a product issue or a service issue. Until I get max speed and constant stability I will change my rating to 5 stars

2 ★ Slow. No response from support. Connected to internet but only get a Reload error.
1 ★ UPDATE App no longer works. If you are thinking of buying a betterspot- don't. The throughput on VPN is 10% of the connection.
2 ★ Needs took be better. This was a very promising thing, but so far very disappointing. First. I what to connect to it directly to the source, so I plug it directly from my cable modem... cannot find internet. So I need to plug my cable modem to my router and my betterspot plugs in three router... finds the internet. Second. The speed is 33 mbps through the betterspot when it is 136 through my router WiFi. Huge drop in speed. Even worst when using VPN. It is then, 10 mbps. Not acceptable. Third. Needs France in the VPN choices. But before all, fix the speed.
1 ★ app is easy to use, concept is good, but VPN service is super slow! PLEASE UPGRADE SERVERS and allow to choose specific locations in the USA at least. I'm only able to get 1MB upload and download on a gigabit internet connection. ..
2 ★ Impossible to connect to internet and use VPN function. 3 day of headaches so far.
1 ★ Unable to connect by any means. Watched the videos and emailed customer support. Standing by for assistance. Hopefully I'll get some before the warranty expires.

4 ★ well that's of for a great start received the router unboxed it powered it up connected to it and the app can't find the router
