Hadith Qudsi are the words of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him). Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith) are so named because, unlike the majority of Hadith which is Prophetic Hadith, their authority (Sanad) is not traced back to the Prophet but to the Almighty

Hadith Qudsi differs from other hadeth in the sense that Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Hadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith) is named so because, unlike the other Ahadith which are the words of Prophet, These hadith is considered direct messages from Allah, revealed to Prophet.

The Hadith Qudsi, or sacred hadith, have a very important status because their meaning is completely from Allah while the wording is that of Prophet Muhammad himself.

The Arabic word Hadith (hadise kudsi bangla) means "speech." Sometimes the hadith may be a quotation of Prophet Muhammad. Or the hadith could be a story about something that happened during his lifetime. Hadith Qudsi is a term used which signifies that the meaning of the hadith is from Allah Subhanah, and the words are related to Messenger of Allah (saws), Quran where the meaning and words are both Allah Subhanah from both.

Hadith Qudsi:
The word qhud means: holy (from fault). Which is a name of the names of Allah ta'a Since these traditions are directly related to Allah, they have been named as 'Hadis Qudsi'.
