5 ★ One of the better mental health apps out there. Some really good people. If you're selective on who you talk to. Same as everything else.
3 ★ Okay so , there is a problematic situation I've been facing. I had a really good online friend in this app, he was my Bestfriend. But I remember I accidentally logged out , when I tried to login it said "this account doesn't exist" , or sometimes "this is a social-login account , please try social-login". Now I don't understand how to do the "social-login" . I would appreciate if this problem is taken care of at the earliest .
4 ★ For the moment, you can actually converse with people. It's not flooded with bots, OF/IG farmers, or the casual hook-up crowd. There are edgelords, but for the moment.... It's great. Said after spending 10+ hours of near continual usage on the app. Further, in that time the mods/admins were active in discussing community issues, and pending changes in an open posting. Refreshing, and grateful that I stumbled across TalkLife. Keep it secret, keep it safe. ;)
4 ★ It allows you to make the best of it. If your looking for friendly digital human connection it an excellent app. It also offers perspective on what people are going through. I would recommend if your lonely or anxious or depressed.
1 ★ There is something wrong with the message feature of this app. I didnt have any problem with my internet. I could comment on people's post. But everytime im using messages, it always reload and couldn't send/recieve anything back. Please fix the bug,i'll change my ratings after that. thx
3 ★ Updated review. Have been using TalkLife for just over a year now. There are aspects of it which are wonderful, as it's a great concept for an app and there are some lovely people there. Unfortunately, a lot of people end up using it as another Social Media app, and there can be a lot of toxicity there, as well as "popular users" and even bullying. As long as you don't use the app constantly, you'll be fine, but make sure to take breaks and don't get sucked into it.
4 ★ The app is great for talking,socialising and comforting each other. I have only one problem. When I'm chatting with someone privately it keeps not showing the messages that are being sent and stays on loading screen. Please fix it. Other than that, the app is great!
1 ★ The app was good for awhile but then it stopped working completely. This has also been brought up months ago as mentioned in the comments section. So, the talk life people in charge of fixing it need to actually DO SOMETHING to fix it. 05/28/2021 - Problem is still not fixed.
3 ★ The notification sucks. I set them to "only if someone replies me". I checked, twice. But, it keeps notifying me for comments on a post I commented, flagged, blocked, hidden. I hate that post so much, yet I had to keep getting these because the post was boosted and people keep commenting. It's upsetting. The post is toxic to me. If others don't agree, ok. But, I should have the freedom to never see that again.
1 ★ The people on this app made me feel worse. I should be able to say what I want without anyone judging me. I posted a frustrating experience I had with my 8 year old son not doing his homework at all everyday! and I was afraid he would be like his dad who I'm no longer with. Of course I never tell him that. These people automatically scolding me. I'm done. I dont know why I thought talking about it on this app would help. Yall suck
1 ★ If I could give this app a negative 5 stars I would in an instant. It's absolutely horrible, the admins and people on the app are so incredibly biased against anything that's not in thier agenda. Don't even think about installing this app for help. It's full of trolls, attention seekers, perverts, and most of all politics, I don't believe it should be discussed at all. But it's extremely one sided. Posts are not removed. Don't bother with this app.
5 ★ The best app on the Play Store! I feel welcomed and haven't had a bad thing to say about it. It's been very helpful and it's my go to app for support. Sitting for hours talking to people is great therapy! I love being able to help others and provide a kind word. It's beneficial for both parties. Please keep making updates to the app and add more features. I will pay for this every month in order to keep it running!
4 ★ It seems like a great app, and the intention is great aswell, I just wish there were a filter of some kind, because people who are commenting may actually be aggravating the person's pain and there's no control over who posts/comments what.
5 ★ This admin in the app is pretty tough on the guidelines, keeping the purpose of the app with the original intention, and super serious in keeping everyone safe. Although you still get some odd balls there, one can observe the determination of the admin to minimize that as much as they can. It's a good app to help and helped with in terms of mental health. Thank you for making it.
2 ★ The app was good until whoever is running auto hawk started deleting ppls post at random or whoever calls out their action. The people are not all bad but theirs a few sour apples. It was a great app but I wouldn't get my hopes up
