App permissions

smartib 2.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

2 ★ It doesn't have my school, I can't login

5 ★ Thank you so much for helping out IB students worldwide! I have gotten a lot of help and tips for my EE and IAs as well. Suggestions: Being able to find and friend students from your own school. Improvements: The 'recent posts' should be a little bit more organised.

4 ★ It's really good, lets me know other people's opinions and the best way to answer questions/ conduct my IAs. The only thing that would make it better is having papers on there

4 ★ It hasn't been even 5 minutes since I downloaded it and I can already see immediate benefits to this app. The only suggestion I have is to add an option where we can save threads or follow them so we can look back at it another time

4 ★ It's a good concept but the organisation is a bit messed up. It says that posts were created 50 years ago, and it keeps reloading as I scroll, and repeats the questions. Please fix this.

4 ★ Love the site but Im on android and when I tried registering I got to the last step and hit the register button then it crashed! Then it wouldnt let me login, and it wouldnt resend my password to the email it said there was an error, so I tried to register again and it said the email I used waz already taken, so I used a different email and username and went through the process again, then the same thing happened! Now I have two inaccessible accounts please help!

2 ★ Love the idea but server is down ever two seconds, I couldn't even register..

3 ★ App is not optimized for higher doing screens, or maybe it's just the splash screen with the logo. But I can't even register myself as it crashes when I try to.

4 ★ This app has been so helpful in giving me useful information about many different areas of ib. It is very easy to use for the most part. The only thing that makes it difficult to use is that the app crashes while I'm using it sometimes

3 ★ I like the idea of having an official platform to talk with other IB students, but the app crashed when i clicked on a topic, rendering it pretty much useless. If these bugs are fixed it could be really good

4 ★ I like the idea a lot, I think it could become something very useful for all IB students. There are some performance issues but after they are fixed this will become a 5 star app.
