Download the latest Caldwell Ballistic Chronograph application, version 1.50, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Sports app is developed by Battenfeld Technologies Inc. and is easy to download and install.

Description
For best performance - make sure your device is up to date with the latest software updates provided by your manufacturer and/or carrier.
If you are unable to connect your Android device to the chronometer follow these instructions:
With the audio cable disconnected at both ends…
1. Connect the audio cable to the Android device
2. Connect the audio cable to the Chronometer
Chrono USB Support (v. 1.24+)
NOTE: Not all devices support USB. To test if your device has USB support - download and run USB Host Diagnostics by Chainfire from Google Play.
A USB 2.0 A-Male to B-Male Cable + a USB On-The-Go Connector is required. These cables can be purchased through Amazon.com, Radio Shack, and other retailers.
When prompted to Allow the app Chronograph to access the USB device - Select OK.
If you do not see a prompt - check your connection and try again.
If you are unable to connect the device - Please ensure your device has USB support.
App permissions
Caldwell Ballistic Chronograph 1.50 APK requires following permissions:

4 ★ Works well, I just wish you could set up the the group information at home then go out and shoot. It would also be nice to be able to shoot new data on a previous group to compare.
1 ★ Doesn't connect to the chronograph in two different ipads and galaxy s10. The chronograph itself gets error codes all the time. Its junk! I tried to email customer service but it say invalid email address when I hit send. They must not want to deal with issues.
1 ★ Crashes every single time. No support for it, Bluetooth is what screws it up. Just use the display if you're using Android, apple works fine...
4 ★ so far used for a little over a year it works well. nice to be able store saved groups with all the notes and even a picture of the group. the measuring portion isn't accurate all the time, and it would be nice to be able to edit weather conditions, which it won't allow me to do. all in all the app does what it should plus a little more
1 ★ Has not worked for me (twice). I downloaded this about a year ago and again today. There is always an error when the phone is connected to Caldwell chronograph. I would not recommend the app, but this only my experience.
1 ★ Doesnt work on galaxy s8+ Android 9. Didn't work on my s5 years ago either. I just get an error "connected [no audio]"
1 ★ The audio jack will not connect to my Samsung s10+ because it is a headphone jack not a microphone jack. Caldwell needs to make a Bluetooth device that plugs into the chrono to connect to newer phones so they are compatible OR release a statement in all sales descriptions acknowledging the fact that their product is not compatible with headphone jacks.
4 ★ Wasn't working until I manually enable permissions for microphone access. Started working fine after that.
4 ★ Couldn't connect at first. Have to do the right sequence or the app will not connect. Waiting to try it again on my next range trip.
1 ★ After some difficulty connecting chrono with phone via cable it worked well how ever trying to navigate the data input screens it wont separate groups and there needs to be a help section in app for managing info also the Bullet selection and Create bullet sections DON'T EXIST but Caldwell shows them in description.
4 ★ This app does indeed work with newer Android phones. I have a Galaxy S10 5G and it works. The key is you have to give the app permissions for your mic, it doesn't prompt you to do this, you have to do it on your own then it works fine.
4 ★ App worked as advertised. Very basic, nice save feature. Make sure you go to settings and allow App access to mic.
3 ★ Sucks for Android. Tried it on 2 different phones and would not connect. Works great on my iPad mini though. No problem with ios.
2 ★ Have to dig out my old phone new phones don't work with this. You have to have a headphone/microphone Jack this year's to work great with my old phone.
1 ★ Doesn't work on my samsung s9+ wont even start up without crashing ....dont buy unless u are 100 percent sure it will work with your phone
