Description
Baobab is compatible with:
- ePub 2 formats
- the recomposable or fixed margin ePub 3 formats
The application is exclusively compatible with digital resources without DRM or protected by the LCP technical protection measure (DRM).
Baobab allows personalization of the reading experience: the user can choose the size, the fonts and the reading and creation mode. He can create his reading bookmarks.
App permissions
Baobab 3.2.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

2 ★ Fonctionne très mal sur une tablette eink boox poke 3. Les pages soit ne défilent pas, soit mettent un temps très important (de l'ordre d'une dizaine de secondes). Dommage car le système de récupération des ouvrages en prêt est particulièrement pratique et bien réalisé. L&application est encore à ses premiers débuts et reste minimaliste.
1 ★ Sur mon Huawei Mediapad M3, l'application se ferme dès que je l'ouvre. Inutilisable donc.
