5 ★ I've been using this app for over 5 years and it has been pretty exceptional, with just a few bugs considering I'm subscribed to over 200 podcasts and I regularly have over 50 episodes downloaded at any point in time. My only quibble is that creating playlists is a little less than intuitive, but that's a minor issue. Love this app!
4 ★ I had used podcast addict in the past, and enjoyed it. Then I tried consolidating everything into Spotify, and it just didn't work as well. Podcast addict let's you automatically delete episodes after they've been played, among other things, and is just easier to use and has a better UX. Therefore I'm using it again and won't look back
5 ★ This is the best podcast app I've ever used, after Stitcher became complete garbage. The dev has worked hard to make an incredible amount of options, making it so customizable. Ppl complaining that it's confusing just need to play w/ them. My only complaint is that the playlist doesn't give you options to add the whole podcast, it only seems to add episodes. But you can organize them w/ categories. The dev is thoughtful enough to give u the choice between an ad footer or occasional full screen.
4 ★ I came to Podcast Addict from Player FM. After a month of daily use, not a single hiccup, whether booting or navigating. The developer responding to reviews got me to try it, and the snappy performance and clear update notes keep me using it. I miss no feature from Player FM. The Podcast Addict interface is not as sleek - frankly, it appears desultory. But I'd rather learn to use it the way it is than have it frequently change to 'optimize'. A reliable experience is optimal.
5 ★ My only criticism is that when a podcast was withdrawn because it was politically sensitive, there was no explanation. If this was to be repeated, I would look for another app that operated with integrity and concern for the public wellbeing. So, a very good app with one strike against it.
5 ★ My endless Podcast Addict playlist is still growing. This review update maintains my opinion that this is the best podcast app. I've started to use the favorites, and bookmarks, and sharing functions to my friends. It allows me to reference podcasts and time stamps that are worth their time and attention, creating more podcast addicted millennials. **The yearly sub to keep the updates flowing is worth every penny!**
5 ★ Podcast Addict is the MVP of podcasts. Everything about the way it plays, organizes, displays, and searches fits me like a glove. I only wish there was a Windows version, too.
4 ★ Love the podcast addict... Only problem I had was when I paid for app. It still had way to many commercials for paying the monthly fee... Also did not seem to have access to all the podcasts.... If everything is free I am ok with how many commercials there are. Finally my wife tried to fix it for me and could not get it right so had to cancel service.. I do love the site and hope to try the monthly thing again sometime.. Did I say the site is great. Recomend it to all
5 ★ Most used app on my phone for years. The dev never rests, it just gets better and better. My only complaint these days is landscape mode in car mode, the controls need to be adjusted to be larger.
5 ★ The app is easy to use and works well but the best thing is the support I have recieved. I've had two issues that did not actually relat to the app itself and when I emailed for support/feedback I got an immediate respose and sorted the issue. I have now upgraded to the premium version.
2 ★ Quite probably the least intuitive user interface anyone could dream up. Searching for a new podcast can take longer than the podcast. Try skipping an episode. It will remain there trying to start every time you open the app. I could not imagine a worse set of controls.
5 ★ So much better than the other podcast I had. I can actually listen to podcasts I like without having to keep my phone screen on with the app pulled up. Also, when I have my bluetooth on and the phones idle and I push "play" it'll pull up the podcast and start playing where I left off without having to unlock my phone.
5 ★ Been using this app since 2016 & now really I became a podcast addict😀 awesome app to listen to any podcast, audio books. The only issue I guess maybe it's not an issue is that some shows which are on Spotify are not available here...like The Joe Rogan Show or Busted Open (old episodes are there though) so I had to download Spotify too. So if you can make these shows available than it'll be good... otherwise awesome app & a Big 👍
5 ★ Its great! I have been using this app for years and it just keeps getting better and better, the ads are just down in a tiny bar at the bottom and it has really in depth settings if you want them but just works easily if you dont which is a great balence.
2 ★ The search function isn't working at all for me. Otherwise, it seems like a fine app, but if I can't find my podcasts, that functionality doesn't really matter.
