ParseTask is a simple plugin to read data in JSON, XML and HTML.
Actions:
1) Read json/xml
2) Read html
3) Use regex with tasker variables
4) Post form to web sites to auto-login
App permissions
ParseTask 2.2.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

4 ★ I'm using this from MacroDroid instead of Tasker to parse some JSON retrieved via an HTTP GET action and it works fine, once you figure out how to use it. I'm only giving it 4 stars as though the dev created a video, I didn't find it very useful, sorry dev. I still appreciate your work though.
2 ★ Can't seem to parse a json file with the root being an array. Not sure if its an encoding issue, but some toubleshooting feedback would be nice. At least a real explanation of the method used to parse.
