Description
BlueTask allows audio routing using BT headset. In addition it can intercept the pressure of headset buttons, about the setup: after the button has been pressed with the screen on of your smartphone, select "BlueTask" when the system shows the popup "Complete action with" and select "Always".
It allows to force connection or disconnection to a BT device.
It allows to perform BT scan to get list of near devices with RSSI value (in order to get a device, the device must be in discoverable state).
It allows to get battery level information (Android 8.1+)

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

4 ★ Finally, a simple way to intercept a bluetooth button press and make it do something else via Tasker. Better instructions would be nice. Works well.
2 ★ Unfortunately the Bluetooth tethering function doesn't work
5 ★ Works a treat for forcing a connection to my Google Home via Tasker; my Nokia on Pie seems to have problems automagically reconnecting to bluetooth devices.
5 ★ Doesn't work with Automate. Can't fault app dev, because it doesn't mention Automate; I just wanna let folks know.
