Description
BAE Systems’ GXP OnScene is a companion App to your site's GXP Platform/Xplorer server. It provides tactical, real-time personnel coordination and geospatial imagery capabilities to responders as they arrive on the scene of a crisis or event. Fusing mobile app, desktop, and server technology, GXP OnScene provides a graphical grid overlay on top of up-to-date, personalized maps to field users via their smartphone or tablet. Teammate locations display as named markers on the map using the device GPS. Functionality provides those in command of the situation with a simple tool to coordinate and direct the responders in real time, eliminating ambiguity from updates and instructions.
App permissions
GXP OnScene® 3.2.3.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

5 ★ Revolutionise the way you use imagery products on the move.
5 ★ Solid app. It helps to have login credentials for a GXP Platform or GXP Xplorer server in order to access the location sharing capability, in addition to the image overlays. The combination of those two capabilities together really makes it useful!
4 ★ Good for it's intended purpose. My issue is that GPS is not always accurate. Need to be able to manually move location dot for a more precise location.
