Within the app, you will find a variety of shifts in industries such as Warehousing, Manufacturing, General Labor, Catering, Cleaning, Events, and more.
After you’ve been accepted for a shift and finish working, you will be able to rate the company you worked with and they will rate you. When you perform at your best it builds your Bacon presence, which leads to more gigs and opportunities for leveling up with our brand new “Level Up” program!

1 ★ Problematic From the Start I downloaded the app today, had to close the app 5 times just to pass the onboarding quiz. It's only 7 questions, after I got to the 6th question, it closed 5 different times. Now that I've finally passed the quiz, it's saying I need to retake it. This was a waste of time. There's plenty of other apps that do the same thing, with a better system in place. Hope this helps.
1 ★ Took quite a while to fill put all the information only to get to the training video quiz that is super glitchy. It slides questions away before I answer them and at the end when it says I'm on boarded, it takes me back to the list of tasks that I just did and stops there. I've tried re-taking the quiz, restarting the app, and reinstalling, nothing works. It's very disappointing.
1 ★ This was a very frustrating app. It is a clean GUI and a amazing idea but whoever is managing the app doesn't mind the customer/ user suffering while waiting 30 seconds between each question as the app lags and buffers. Other than that I passed the on boarding quiz multiple times and it won't get the checkmark for me to see jobs. Very frustrating when I'm waiting 15 min between each test and im answering the questions right...
1 ★ Downloaded the app and tried signing up. I put in my location, personal info, and get a text verification but then it takes me back to the beginning of sign up. Tried signing in it says "No account available". I try signing back up, "Number used too many times." So, 1 star since I can even sign up for the service because the app keeps making me restart the sign up process.
1 ★ Signed up for jobs on multiple occasions only for them to be canceled each and every single time without warning in the app without an email notification nothing I did not get notified until I showed up for the job and they said that they don't work with bacon anymore. This has happened multiple times and @Bacon refuses to compensate or fix this issue.
2 ★ The app is so hard to use, nothing ever works and their customer support is unresponsive. I turned off notifications for it, and it still sent me one every 5 minutes. I turned my job radius to 10 miles and they're sending jobs from many towns away. The sign up process was so awful and confusing. Its a shame this app is garbage because the concept and process of getting jobs is so great.
4 ★ Great idea. This app needs to be easier on scheduling. I can only work on Saturday or Sunday but there's no filter on which days companies are advertising work. I don't know if it's bugged but every single listing is for this next Monday. On the main screen where it shows all the different jobs It really also should show which date they're advertising for.
3 ★ I enjoy using the Bacon app as it has many avenues to earn money from gigs. I appreciate all the work I've gotten from utilizing this app. You will definitely benefit from this app. However, I do wish it would update, I need work that is closer to my immediate location as I do not drive a car and buses don't go to locations of work I have been recently sent.
2 ★ Before I can do anything at all it wants me to finish my profile. Part of it is watching the onboarding video and answering the quiz questions but I can't even do that because as I get to the last question, before I select one of the multiple choice answers, it tells me I got 6/7 and need to redo it. I can't even contact the app help because when I restart the app it goes right back to my profile.
5 ★ So quick and easy to start workin, great gigs most of the time. Phenomenal app I absolutely love it and it's saved me with payments (bills) a few times. Only thing I'd challenge is the punishment for the bad marks we get for being late , no shows, etc. I understand people need to be reliable but to get booted from the app can be horrifying it happened to me qhen I relied on it for a check
2 ★ So far I can't see any benefit to the app or program. No gigs listed except a bunch of past ones going back to October. Maybe it's just an app bug, if not then there's just not any work available. I like the idea of strike process, but I wish I would have had this as an employer a year ago. That's the only reason I'll give any stars. If the opportunities improve in amount, any amount, I'll give more stars.
5 ★ It's a great app easy to use and pick up jobs with. However I have encountered payment issues with it through its payment agency called stripe. They fixed it in a timely manner and was happy about it. However I think they're too strict when it comes to reviews from employers. However that's why we can also make a review on them as an employee. Certain companies I would definitely recommend not working for.
1 ★ Steer clear Better off picking up shifts through instawork and gig smart. Gig smart even pays next day ! Both apps mentioned above will actually pay you. Job I worked for said I was a no show. Bacon gives you just a email and script to send to the manager I didnt remember all the details of the shift. When I asked for the details they said they don't have it but I'm seeing old gigs as far back as October in the app. Plus it too forever to actually get a response back.
2 ★ The bacon app delivered. Worker showed up and did the work I wanted help with. Payment? Seamless. Taxes? Not my problem. Insurance? Some one else's issue. New Hire paperwork? Skip that. Temp agency middle man confusions? None. Is the worker nagging me for hours? No. It was so easy to get short term help for today. It was just awesome. Update: the app has had a few bugs but the developers have been easy to work with. Update: the app has been updated and is so glitchy it's practically unusable.
2 ★ It has potential. I enjoyed looking at the job opportunities. But now I open the app and it just stays on a red blank screen. I forced closed and I reinstalled the app and still having the same issue. I don't understand how I can successfully complete jobs and get paid when the app refuses to open properly.
