Description

Take the guess work out of parenting your baby and discover the joy of knowing what your baby has to say before she can talk! One of the most fundamental human desires is to be understood - help your baby communicate by teaching her baby sign language.

This app is free to allow you an opportunity to sample the many features and to try a few signs with your child. Then, if you would like to continue, please consider buying the full version which contains approx. 340 signs and over 1 hour of video instruction. The full version is available for purchase on the App Store.

This app includes 40 real-life signing video demonstrations! The friendly presenters will help you to learn to sign with your baby in an engaging and enjoyable way.

The keyword signs demonstrated in this video dictionary are based on American Sign Language (ASL). All signs have been carefully selected for their ease of use, helpfulness to carers and appropriateness for baby's interests and daily routine.

Each sign has a detailed video tutorial covering information such as: simple instructions on how to perform the sign, clever tips to help you remember the sign and practical suggestions on how to introduce the sign to your baby.

The signs are also organized into categories such as: action words, animals, daily routines, feelings and emotions, food, manners and behavior, and nature – all of which are arranged alphabetically for quick and easy searching.

To test your baby signing knowledge, the app also comes with a fun interactive video quiz that will help you learn and remember the signs. You can also mark signs as part of your favorites list.

This app makes the perfect parent's companion to the popular Baby Sign and Learn animated apps (also available on the App Store). Featuring gentle guidance and practical advice, this app has been designed to help make teaching your baby to sign as easy as waving “bye-bye”!

3 ★ I'm glad to have this app, I happily paid for the full version because the videos are so good. Really really good. However, they didn't put nearly as much care into programming the app itself. To take a particularly poignant example: say you're browsing the signs and find one you'd like to add to your favorites. Shockingly, you can't. You must go to your favorites list, click the add icon, and find the one you wanted from the entire list of videos. Really annoying..

4 ★ there is a person in our school who can't speak. And to become his friend, i want to learn the sign language so that i will able to talk to him. And to understand what he wants to say. So i downloaded this app because i believe it can help me to learn fast. Even though i'm just a beginner.

5 ★ I've only used the free version so far but love it! Video is much easier for learning signs. My son hasn't caught on yet (once he does and we need more vocabulary I'll likely buy the full thing) but you shouldn't expect it to be instantaneous you're teaching a language!

4 ★ I choose this because I have a daughter who can no longer speak due to a heart transplant and a son with down syndrome who is currently speech delayed I would love to understand them more clearer so I pray this app teaches me

2 ★ Free version seemed awesome, so I bought the full version. It takes 30 minutes to download all the video clips that are necessary to use the app. Waste of $.

5 ★ This may seem silly, I have no kids at home with the need for sign language but, I personally love to sign even though I am very slow. I truly find this program helpful and love the quiz. Thanks

5 ★ The videos are clear and entertaining. The selection of words is perfect for baby/toddlerhood. Our 13 month old son enjoys the videos, too. We try to use the signs in conversation and he is beginning to make them himself. It's so great to be able to communicate with him at this stage!

5 ★ This is such an amazing app. It's a great way for my 15 month old son to learn how to communicate better, as he only says a few words and instead chooses to point. I will definitely be buying the full app.

5 ★ So far I love this app it's simple and easy to understand. I learned and remembered each sign the first time I viewed it. Lots of useful signs on the free version. If my baby picks up the signs I will be purchasing the full version. This was exactly what I was looking for. I will be recommending this to all my mommy friends.

5 ★ My son just turned one and we really enjoy this app its simple and very clear . Awsome for new learners.app is fast and always opens back up where I left off. thank u

5 ★ I'm thinking on teaching my babies ASL they are healthy but I would love them to learn this language incase when the get to go to school if there's a kid whose deaf they can still be able to communicate and make that kid feel confortable playing with them

4 ★ I downloaded this app to check it out on my husband's phone first, just to see if it was worth my time. It's actually pretty good for beginners. I knew some of them, and also managed to learn a few new ones as well.

5 ★ I love that thid app has no requirements, im teaching my toddler basic signing until he talks, and this is perfect, great explanation and demonstrations

5 ★ I know this is I a baby app but it is also a great app to teach a basic understanding of auslan in order to be able talk to a person, and they are then able to learn teach you a little.

5 ★ I've tried a lot of other ones with my boys but they respond to this one extremely well and I'm learning right along with them.
