5 ★ I've had Avast security on my PC and Android phone for a decade now and their programs have kept my devices completely free of any trouble whatsoever. I particularly like their Cleanup program which is fast and easy to use. It cleans junk and tracking cookies daily, and the Avast VPN adds even more privacy. This is an outstanding security & maintenance system that I would recommend to anyone that wants secure internet use.

1 ★ Unable to get any communication from this app when opening account site to comment or ask questions about use They simply take your money and put you on autopilot, never to be heard from again until it's time to take your money again. I attempted to ask questions with my original subscription. I never heard back I attempted to get answers before my 2nd year was paid. Never heard back even though I attempted to cancel. The money still came out on my credit card.

4 ★ I'm a new subscriber to the lower tier paid plan. I like the app very much except for one annoyance. Part of why I paid for the subscription was for no ads, but a pop up from Avast keeps prompting me to subscribe to the top plan. It just opens and my Google Play info and last 4 of my credit card are sitting there waiting for me to hit subscribe. If this is an attempt to annoy people into paying for the top plan believe me it's having the opposite effect on me. Be happy with the plan I paid for.

2 ★ Your free version does not do enough and you push the premium version way too hard. Not everyone can afford that. You have a different app for everything you do and that takes up too much space on my device. It requires a permission that I do not have because it slows down my phone so it's not one of the features that I enjoy. Therefore I cannot lock my apps. I will probably be uninstalling at the end of my subscription. Thank you

1 ★ Predatory ADpocalypse application. Always utilise it for my new computers, because it is a trustworthy application without causing headaches. As of late the ads within the phone application have become intolerable. Do not tell me that one can subscribe, the point is one should not have to. Best should be for everyone, not only for those that pay.

3 ★ **IMPORTANT info- I have an Avast VPN annual subscription then got this app and paid for premium service. This app does not recognize that I am a current VPN subscriber! VERY annoying because it constantly tries to get me to buy VPN service. I have written customer service for a fix but never got an answer. So now I have two Avast apps ( both premium) and they both try to sell me the other.

1 ★ Avast is suppose to be an antivirus company that specialize in defense tactics of various bugs & etc. The development team needs to get back in the lab:go back to the drawing board. I ALSO PAID FOR THE PREMIUM. When a link in a chain is found to be vulnerable you fix it. Plain & simple. App lock useless. I know it doesn't work all the time. Facts. Every so often and I mean to often app lock just doesn't work.

2 ★ The mobile security was already on but when I tried to run the mobile security, it said web shield is off and to toggle the option in accessibility. Now, the app wants full control of my phone. I don't like that at all and bothers me. I also am a paying app customer. UPDATE: When I try to turn on accessibility setting, it says to allow the app to have full control of my phone. I have screenshots to show that's what it says about turn on the accessibility option.

5 ★ The app is working great. It scans and reports/flags any issues. Unfortunately, I dont think it can detect a cloned sim or a remote hack. I am not sure. I was hoping I would be notified by Avast for this issue if it was happening. It does not seem to check for these issues. Avast works great for keeping phone virus free. I will continue to use the premium bundle as I do feel secure when it's running. Def worth the $, but I do wish it could detect or notify of cloning or remote hacking.

5 ★ Quick/EASY PEACE OF MIND If you're looking for something quick and easy to navigate then tap install. It directs you through the entire set-up and explains everything (for us non tech people 😉). Now I can be at peace knowing my info is protected. Granted NOTHING is 100% ,but when you have protection it makes it more difficult for those "bad people and apps". This tends to cause them to move on to an easier target. Good luck and stay safe. Mostly, use your common sense. 😀😉😉

4 ★ Confidence with a catch. I appreciate the virus scans, but the app is always trying to upsell you. It lets you run all these different scans but then you need to purchase an upgrade to use them. I've been a loyal customer for almost a decade, but I don't like the hassle. EDIT based on reply: I am a paying customer. Not using the free version.

4 ★ Decided to upgrade to premium at the special rate of $11.90 yr. Hate the free update version. Don't decided to upgrade to premium Workin well so far bother getting the free version anymore. They delleted everything that was of good use. I wish I could score zero. Now I can't "kill" pause running apps like before, It's Not user friendly at all, simple clean up of cach "stuff" and being able to one button stop apps that are running running to save battery drain are not there anymore. Sucks

1 ★ The web shield seems to be crashing. I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it working. This is a continuing issue. It seems that the web shield being disabled would be considered malicious activity. Shouldn't the app protect against this? ....This has continued to be an issue. Avast is not functioning and provides no warning to alert the user. Might be time to try a different app.

2 ★ This USED to be an awesome app, but one of the updates broke it. I'm not sure how long ago, but it has been months. I have scans set to run daily (with deep scan) and routinely get notification alerts that my device has not been scanned in X days (usually 6-7). Today it told me there had been no deep scan for 36 days despite the fact that I get the scan confirmation notification EVERY DAY. Something is broken in this app. (Paid version)

3 ★ Giving 3 stars because I'm doing in experiment. After I downloaded and started using the free version my apps randomly crashed and closed and my phone seems to be running significantly slower but have not noticed a battery drain which was what I was looking for so that's good but the rest seems like it's too much to all be a coincidence. so many malfunctions at the same time I start using this app? I'm going to uninstall observe for a few days and then go forward from there...
