2 ★ 30 minutes late turning up for the going out journey, 10 minutes late on the return journey!! What more can I say. Had to change our arrangements going out as we missed the crowd at the first pub because the taxi was half an hour late! Just want to add not the driver's fault they were polite and apologetic but are only given the jobs when they drop off the latest one. The office need to get there act sorted!
2 ★ Ridiculous service!! I've always used dean's taxi but more than a few times now, there's no one to even accept the job and when I ring no one picks up... One time at the metrocentre same thing happened and it turned out the operator was on the phone chatting away, I know this because I was stood in a cue behind a man waiting to use the taxi phones inside the metrocentre that he was using and he seemed to be having a conversation like he was talking to a friend rather than booking a taxi.
1 ★ Sorry but useless app. Return trips must be done seperate and and it misses time and date option and just says taxi on way which is not wha you want
1 ★ Service getting worse week by week have used for years won't be using again. Last twice booked twice on app got phone calls saying no cars after confirmation . Tonight got text saying car outside not my car was not interested where mine was. Rang my driver he put phone down on me and turned up 10 mins after the original text.
3 ★ The app itself works fine but the permanent non configurable "Dean Taxis" shortcut notification is really annoying. I want it removed or the option to configure notifications using the new fine grained notification api. Could globally disable notifications for the whole app at the cost of not getting other important notifications.
1 ★ Dean Taxis are great. The app though is a barely functioning at the best of days. You'll be better off just calling them. It's hard giving a negative review, but unless the senior team at Dean corporate does something drastic, I might stop using Dean because they aren't convenient enough.
5 ★ Great service, the cars are clean and drivers polite and helpful. Plus, it is great to track and be aware of your drivers eta. Easy payment as well.
2 ★ Utterly useless since the update on this app. I'm tired of of watching the search for available cars when previously, a booking was confirmed immediately. I've taken my business elsewhere.
5 ★ Dean taxis is simply the best service in gateshead area I would recommend them to anyone that has not used the service yet. (WHY) taxis are allways clean and do are the drivers shirt, dresspants,and most important a tie you can not get any better than that so please call dean taxis and you will see for yourself and to the drivers and staff keep up the good work you are doing a great job.
1 ★ Completely pointless app, booked a taxi 3 days in advance to be told after phoning up 10 mins before arrival that the taxi wouldn't be coming as it was prioritizing bookings from town. Woman on the phone said not her problem, speak to IT about it. Totally pathetic service
1 ★ This is the kind of taxi service where they rip you off!! The app shows a price but the driver takes u for a ride and charges you lot more....never follows the GPS ...hate this app and will stick with Uber for ever and ever... I used this app in Newcastle upon Tyne..
1 ★ Well, sorry but I'm disappointed. The current address is always wrong. It has long lags and crashes all the time giving errors.
2 ★ Not a good service fora a taxi to be 20mins late on a quiet night. New APP is not user friendly & very confusing. It may be possible to book a spaceship but taxis are not available.
5 ★ I find reception lady's helpful and friendly also all taxi drivers you can have a laugh and a chat with them. You don't have to wait long for your taxi to arrive. Thank you for a very good service.
1 ★ Don't use this - worst app ever. They don't even look at the address you ask to get picked up at and got left stranded. Would put 0 out of 5 if I could.
