App permissions

Autocab Driver Companion 3.2.23C APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows an application to record audio.

Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

1 ★ Wack. Slow takes ages loading maps sometimes and it should map automatically to the customer and automatically open maps when we enter the destination to save time. Uber app has far better simplicity

3 ★ App freezes up during journey/disconnect with PayPal many times.

1 ★ Update is awful. Only see half the addreses on prebooked jobs, mileage doesn't go up, costing me money. No option to rollback to older version.

1 ★ Downloaded to use on a Samsung tablet but would only operate in landscape mode. No matter what I tried it would not switch to portrait. Also another of the features didn't expand the text to fit the screen so I could not get the full benefit of having a larger screen.

1 ★ Update sucks can't see details of pre bookings.there should be a waiting time option before you start your meter after 5 mins of booking time you should charge waiting time. And should be added when you start your meter after picking customer

4 ★ Good app only problem is when starting app up I have to close it and open it about 5 times for it to let me input my pin to start work which sometimes is very frustrating

1 ★ some good features with this app such as phoning customers without manual input of numbers. ease of use and has the potential to be very good. very good yes. But only if bugs were ironed out and things like being able to print receipts. customer support on this issue is not helpful. you need to keep on top of this app. make it work properly and better for the taxi industry.... UPDATE. : BUGS!!. As I said , you need to maintain this app. Soooo many bugs. I'm loosing jobs because of it.

2 ★ Dreadful ticking noise, No landscape option, Why not leave alone what didn't need fixing, and have the decency to respond to some of your critics on here. It's fine if you are sat behind a desk developing an app, but listen to the drivers who are forced to use it by their companies. The users can give you a better feedback if you respond to ours.

4 ★ Hi. Every update is welcome, the 2.11 has many goodies but - the offline switch needs to be hidden not to be pushed accidentally and the area where is placed need to be reduced to a half to have better viewing of as many areas as possible - it will be lovely if the prepaid jobs will have a different colour of the meter, not red, some time I'm asking cash to the client on a prepaid job

2 ★ Ringing the customer through the app used to be possible, not any more. I'm sure the developers would be looking to improve the app in future and this issue is really irritating. We have to manually input the number which means having to stop the car, which sometimes isn't convenient.
