Autel Explorer V1.2.14 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Required to be able to reboot the device.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

4 ★ Partial crashing of app when mission planning. I can create a polygon mission, but when I try to make a pattern smaller, the mission page shuts down and goes to the home screen....every time! I end up having to create a new smaller mission. Samsung Tab S6

4 ★ I’m a Prof. Videographer and bought your Autel EVO2 Pro 6K ( Two of them ) for destination shots and Smoother Cinematic Panning shots with out sudden jerky camera movements. We the Prof. Videographers need a “ Cinematic Mode ” In which the camera settings should allow me to put from 0 to 8 seconds gradual smoother delay for the camera and Drone to achieve the speed of the move I have set at the “ Beginning of the shot and the Ending of the Shot “ * * * * Dampen all the sudden jerky movements to very very gradual coming to the speed as selected in the Flight Control, Advanced Settings, Sensitivity , Yaw Movement to as slow as 08% The lowest I could set is 20% still needs slower down to 08% ***** We do not Drone Race but use Autel EVO2 Pro 6K to get our video shots and pictures from above ! The newer firmware 2.622 still the Gimbel does not Auto Calibrate. * * * Yesterday after firmware update to 2.622 My LCD had a long drag say 25 to 30 seconds and I did not even know what I wad shooting due to long delay ! ! Absolutely no provision to put two $12 video lights on both front arms. * * Beef up the Propeller guards at the joints and use better stronger Nylon to keep them from breaking and protecting the Drone in case of a crash, when it starts to Boomerang and goes crazy like mine two Autel EVO2 Pro did recently ! * * Where I live its always windy, how much wind can your drone safely fly on ? The newer firmware was suppose to give us smoother gradual zoom controlled by right thumb wheel to zoom-in and zoom out ! ** The Mavic Air 2 drone give this capability at $700 drone, who wants jerky 2x, 3X, 4X, 5X, 6X etc.

1 ★ Atrocious! This app disables the live video feed from the evo I and no matter what device or phone you use, it will work, and then it just won't. The solution is to search your preferred engine (google etc) for autel explorer previous editions and Install any from 2019. This got my video working. Also, make sure auto update is disabled.
5 ★ It's great. Flies better than a Mavic, more precise and less floaty. For those having trouble with video dropout and lag, set transmission to smooth instead of HD
3 ★ There needs to be a better way to save the pictures and videos to the phone. It is very difficult to save pictures and I have to share it to Google Photos to even see it without being connected to the remote and the drone.. DJI app saved them right on my phone and I could view them at anytime.
1 ★ This app used to be really nice but like many other posters here, there has been a massive regression in transmitting live video from the drone to the phone screen. What used to be perfectly smooth video in versions up to the first half of 2020 is now horribly laggy. I actually thought the drone or remote had gone bad, but the remote control shows video just fine when no phone is connected. If it wasn't for the fact that the remote by itself won't let you fine-tune the camera, I'd ditch the app
4 ★ My apologies if I have missed something. My only major complaint is having to go back in to settings for various setups I prefer and use regularly. There are many. Including the simple such as navigation light on 2 sec, 1 sec., or auto. I always want 2 second. Same with waiting until airborne to select flight mode. I don't like waste my flying time and battery doing anything other than flying. I would also ask that the app should be linked to b4ufly app to simplify preflight. Otherwise awesome!
2 ★ Great interface and design but, like many others, the app constantly either freezes or loses connection all together. I get it often enough where I really can't fly with it at all. Drone is currently at Autel for repairs because the app kept going back and forth with connection and freaked my controller out putting the drone and I go home state and I couldn't stop it before it ascended into tree branches and fell. I have an Evo and am running the app on a Pixel 3+.
3 ★ *Update* Fix/workaround for constantly crashing app - clear the cache for this app under "Settings -> Apps -> Autel Explorer -> Storage & Cache" ------------- Worked well the first time I loaded up the app and used it. I had no problems after using it for around an hour. After using it the next day, it worked for the first minute or two, and then started to crash consistently after only a few seconds. It usually ends up crashing my entire phone, forcing a restart.
5 ★ I love the App. I like the UX/UI of this app more than the DJI. A bit more intuitive. Easy to use. Only complaint for so far is switching video modes. When I switch video modes, it won't confrim that you have unless you exit to a different screen (click Dsip on controller) then go back in. Hope there's a patch for that soon! Also, what's Live and Voiceovers in General Settings? Thanks! Keep up the great work!
