1 ★ It was nice and then it went wacky. Gives me news alerts for counties when EVERY button is unchecked for every county. It constantly runs in the background unable to close app, on and on. I like WTOP but this app has become a headache. Deleting the app and will stick with the radio.
5 ★ Look at my review for the Good Podcasts App. It goes more in detail. But I do want to say THIS app is amazing. I can listen to new from Washington, D.C. from my current location. And The American Nightmare Series Podcast (Seasons 1 & 2) are on this app. So convenient to have it all in one place.
1 ★ Latest update broke the app. I can't open the app because the Facebook login page automatically pops up and when I go to click comfirm or try to X out the pop-up, it just keeps popping back up with the facenlbook login page. It's just a boot cycle loop
1 ★ Every time I try to do a search, I get the following message: Unfortunately, WTOP has stopped. I closed and opened the app several times, and it continues to happen. And, yes, I have the latest version.
3 ★ I cannot turn off the traffic alerts for Maryland. I don't live in Maryland so I don't want the traffic alerts. I am uninstalling this app until this is fixed.
4 ★ Great source of local, state and national news. Great source for traffic and weather. Con: some articles will only open in browser.
5 ★ This is my favorite radio station for news, weather, and traffic. Having the app allows me to get more information anytime or catch an article I missed.
4 ★ Unable to click on link because it says the app is not intended for use within the European Economic Area. I am right outside of Washington DC. Something is wrong. Not using VPN, just a normal browser. Please fix.
1 ★ DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! When you launch the app it will open 20+ tabs on your browser for spam. It must have been recently compromised. Pretty sad. I can't trust this app anymore.
4 ★ It gives me up to date news, weather and traffic. The journalists are humourous and animate well. I'm satisfied with updates on Covid19.
4 ★ I like WTOP for news on the radio but if there is a way to listen on this app, I haven't found it yet. Other networks have live news, etc., so what's up? How about some live news?
2 ★ App was working fine, now it shuts down when you try to open an article. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail.
1 ★ Today I uninstall this app the app took over the phone and wouldn't even let me make a phone call it kept overtaking any function that I would perform. Not good needed to make emergency call and couldn't do it.
5 ★ Awesome app. Love it in the morning while getting ready for work--it's my advance notice for traffic & weather. News alerts are great. Don't mind advisement--helpful sometimes!
2 ★ March 2019, Now the want to force us to register to use the app in addition to being bombarded with jiffy lube commercials??? No way.. I can find another DC app. strictly radio for WTOP from now on. this sucks NFCU member . other DC apps for news dont require this krap, bye.
