DTMF transceiver 1.1 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ if I wanted to make dtmf tone, I'd just use my phones keypade, that's about all this app does. I tried to decode a tone,.. nothing. nice ideia if it worked..
4 ★ The decoded text is difficult to see on the background, but it does work. You'll need to provide an external sound source, like another phone for this device to decode the sound.
4 ★ The listened decoded number is too small and difficult to read, but it works! and helped me to solve a little mistery... Usefull.
3 ★ Needs buttons for A, B, C, and D digits. Needs to mute the bleep that Android generates when a button is pressed.

2 ★ Won't consistently decode rapid (~50msec) tone sequences. Clear button is covered by ads, and had to be touched multiple times to clear the display. Needs to override screen sleep mode. Sending seems to work ok.
