You can also try the free demo version of Aubade first. The functionality is the same as in the paid version, only recording and playback are limited to thirty seconds.

5 ★ Took me a short time to acclimate to this app, and I love how easy it is to lay down tracks just using the mic on my phone. Reasonable quality and a few nice effects like chorus, reverb, etc.
