Description
Let this app help to increase your Wi-Fi connections while minimizing your cellular data consumption. AT&T Smart Wi-Fi helps you find, auto-connect and remember available hotspots in places you frequent. This free app also displays your Wi-Fi and cellular data usage in real-time so you can keep tabs on your data plan usage. Running quietly in the background, AT&T Smart Wi-Fi uses hotspot auto-detection to make it easy for you to discover, select and build a list of available hotspots. Additionally, AT&T Smart Wi-Fi creates a hotspot opportunity list by logging and mapping hotspots you’ve seen -- but not connected to previously. By doing this, you can be notified of relevant hotspots the next time you’re in that area in order to connect.

1 ★ Difficult to keeping connected This device cuts off frequently. It frequently cuts off, when this happens, it's difficult to re-connect
1 ★ Rendered my wifi useless. Couldn't connect anywhere - not even at home standing next to my router. Even when my phone said it was connected, I'd get error messages when I tried to get on the web. Uninstalled the app. Everything works fine now
5 ★ Superbly reliable! I have internet as my provider. If the cellular was not too expensive for me, I would go back as AT&T is the best of all of them.
1 ★ Phone began to act up.once this app was installed. Everything buffered and lingered for great lengths of time. Also J did not see any wifi spots and the notifications were terribly annoying. It had to be umistalled.

5 ★ It helped me transfer old phone ☎️ info to new phone by stabilizing my wifi signal to my phones. After much effort, placing this app on both the new and old phone really helped my home transfer phone info project! It took HOURS until I figured this out.
1 ★ Seems to drain the battery dry, I must switch from one wifi connection to another if I want to watch tv and use my headphones. I am always on Wifi at home and my data usage is up to 96% since installing this on my Android phone. The phone is only been in use 72 days. I intend to disable it or uninstall it and take my chances. I even bought a signal booster to help with the issues. Sorry app.
3 ★ I only said not sure because it's all I seen on there. So sorry about that. It seems to be working fine now. Sometimes it hase it's glitches I'm not sure if it's because of the weather or something wrong with the internet. I'm trying to figure it out. Thank you.
2 ★ I agree with the people that live in the comments this application is not that bad but it has some technical issues supposed to be when you get into somebody's Wi-Fi your being protected
1 ★ Well... uhhhhhhh... Had to disable, deep sleep, and block the app all together. Once I tried to sign in to any WIFi it didn't matter who's, if it can't connect or is but no Internet, even forgetting the network, deleting it from my Active WIFI scan, factory wipe, even after my wifi is turned off, after I checked and denied the app everything, it turned it back on, in the background, turned off the pop-up notifications when networks are in range, THEN REPEATEDLY TRIED THAT SIGN IN OVER AND OVER.
5 ★ So far I'm loving all the AT&T extra apps call protect, wi-fi, and all the other pre-installed apps.
1 ★ I've Uninstalled this twice now, and never installed it voluntarily in the first place, and it keeps popping up on my phone. Love these pervasive apps that act like spam! /s. If I wanted the app on my phone, I would put it there myself. Forcing the app is just going to result in me uninstalling it. Again. And again.
1 ★ No matter what good you might actually be able to find in this, it is certainly negated by the battery drain. 5% in under 2 and a half hours? Garbage app. Never use
5 ★ AT&T Smart Wi-Fi is so helpful in connecting to & or blocking anyone you don't want to connect to , thanks it's just what I needed to protect me from online hackers.👈🤓 👌👍💙 & I love it 😍
1 ★ Disabled and uninstalled after unlocking phone. Absolutely ruins WiFi connections. Oh and FYI, with net neutrality gone, it collects personal info to sell. Do not use
