Description
You will not need to register for anything and you do not need a PC or laptop for installation. You will see live video within 5 minutes (starting with turning on the app)!
ALC SightHD app is compatible with all ALC SightHD (AWF series) cameras. Simply install the app, follow the on-screen instructions, and start monitoring through your SightHD cameras.
You will be able to watch live feeds from any cameras at any time. Manually record videos or turn on motion detection so it automatically records when something moves in front of the camera. Playback your recorded videos directly on your smartphone or tablet. Turn on notification so you will be kept up-to-date!

ALC SightHD 2.2.6.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.
Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Like the look of the camera. Good visual over all. The app is horrible miss a lot of events... When there is a event takes for ever to buff.
2 ★ The camera itself is great. I struggle with this app though. It's not at all well designed and requires a lot of technical know how with very little direction for help. I finally got the hang of it but I still think it needs a heavy overhaul. Lastly, I was having issues connecting my camera to my wifi. It wasn't showing in the list. After an email sent to ALC, and a quick reply, the issue was that your network name can't obtain spaces or special characters. That would have been nice to know.
3 ★ Works alright but lags on my tablet. Good on phone. Would like it even better if it has a cast option to cast to tv or computer. Will not get past the location screen on my Samsung Chromebook 3.
1 ★ Doesnt work! Keeps asking me to turn on GPS location function. ITS ON! But I cant get past that. Waste of time and money. Zero stars!
1 ★ After latest update I can no longer view when motion is detected, nor can I view an event. When attempting to download an event I receive an error message that the download is canceled. This morning I received an alert when someone rang my doorbell but was unable to view who was at my door. I was connected but the screen was black. Ironically when I simply launch the software I'm able to view. So it appears the issue is with events. Fix this immediately or Ring will gain a new customer.
1 ★ 2 thumbs down, 0 stars, a frustrating experience. This app is TERRIBLE! I had used it before on several android & mac devices. Now it doesn't work on Android because it requires network settings that aren't accessible on this type of phone. Too bad they don't let their users know this. It's a terrible app now & an average product (the camera itself).
2 ★ This app is absolutely terrible! My home WiFi does not even appear in the list, so I tried using the generic Xfinity network, but I misentered my password, and now I cannot find the WiFi connection settings to retry. I got a great deal on the equipment (the reason I'm giving 2, not 1, stars). Seriously though, it's 2019, please optimize your software, or I'll be returning my hardware.
1 ★ After the latest update, the camera is no longer operable. The camera will not connect even after "allowing" liberal permissions.
1 ★ I'm glad this camera was a gift, otherwise I'd feel like I was ripped off. Camera does work for a few weeks, then everything the one-star ratings warn you about start to happen. The app is terrible, but what makes it worse is the company doesn't respond to complaints telling their customers that these problems are being addressed. Poor PR.
2 ★ Hardware is decent, but the software is nearly the worst possible. Can't use the hardware without the crappy software (no standard) and the software will only connect reliably when off network/mobile. Latest update now crashes constantly before even attempting to connect. Also now claims to need location permissions... ...WHY?
1 ★ I spent hours and finally got the camera playing .But as soon as I got it to connect to the home router. It lost all. This is way too convoluted. And no way to interface to PC? Ridiculous. The hardware is great. You need a new software team and start over with a browser interface.
3 ★ No brightness adjustment, outside constantly looks washed out.
3 ★ No installation problems although directions don't convey how simple the process is. Communication with caller is slow but works. As stated many, many times the apps need a lot of work. The pic quality and field of view are excellent as well as signaling. When the negatives are addressed this product will be hard to beat.
2 ★ low ratings because the app live view cuts in and out lags and disconnects more than anything.. I feel this app is poorly developed.. seriously ..and from the reviews in reading about this product and it's app you'd think the developers would fix the issues amongst many but not a fat as I can tell.. wish you guys would handle the constant problems.. .. I just might be better off sleeping on my Window still but once I move away im screwed...
1 ★ Still not able to get setup. Keeps trying to connect to some other wifi network. Cannot get it to connect to mine.
