App permissions

ASUS Heart Rate 1.0.8.2 APK requires following permissions:

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to access data from sensors that the user uses to measure what is happening inside his/her body, such as heart rate.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Would probably be good but can't even open it. Crashes as soon as I try to run it. Nexus 6P Android 7.1.1 build number NPF10C. Not expecting it to ever get fixed considering the latest update was April 2016...

1 ★ Every thing is alive. I guess it is like the force that flows through every thing. My sofa has a pulse of 75 bpm. My TV has a pulse of 123 and I have a pulse of 23 bpm.

1 ★ Fake. Tried pointing this on anything red (i.e. Red iPhone) and still gets some heartbeats. Another is that I'm still a kid, never got tired before testing it, yet I got over 100 BPM

1 ★ The next day it refused to work. Not happy.I'm disappointed wanted so much to try out app.

5 ★ After last update camera stopped working. It was initializing forever. But strangely I did reinstall the same version and it worked after that. Magic?

4 ★ It is useful, and almos accurate.. I am surprise what people are saying about pillows and sofa, each time i place the camera infront of anythig other then my figers it immediately shows "unidentified object, please place you fingers" . Good work ASUS. Please remove the ads too.

5 ★ Kept trying to explain to my doctor about my heart rate and missed beats. This app helped me prove to my doctor something wasn't quite right. Got needed test and medication.

1 ★ This crashes on launch, on newest Android OS 7.0 and later fix it please and I'll change rating.

1 ★ Honestly I was excited about finding the app, but it doesn't open on my recently upgraded Moto Z Force. . .oh well maybe a different time. Uninstalled

1 ★ People are actually using this kind of apps and thinking it's real. But there is virtually no information at all about how accurate these apps are. There is no public research explaining how the app operates.

1 ★ Moto z play on nougat, won't even open or sync to zenwatch 2. Heard others have same problem with no fix. 👎
